Unlike Tel Aviv , Jerusalem has been blessed with many true top notch luxury hotels of global standard. The Kig David is unique among them. It has a legendary history. You will see pictures of all the heads of state, entertainers, stars and other notables who stayed there. The interior is unique and unrivaled in its character. The pool area... More

Visiting the King David is a must for anyone in Jerusalem: this is where Israel's political and cultural elite have gathered for almost a century and it maintains that feeling of grandeur and importance, without being stuffy or unwelcoming. In fact the staff were extremely warm and helpful, and the lobby of the hotel much as it was back in... More

I would consider this hotel as one of the best all round 5 star deluxe hotels in the whole of Israel. The grounds and the pool area are magnificent and no other hotel in the Jerusalem are comes close. Faultless in every possible way.

After 2 years of absence in Jerusalem, being a historical a landmark, I returned to the King David with a sour taste from my previous trip... I must admit that my experience was amazing ! it's a 180° from what I had experienced in the past. An extremely kind and professional staff greeted us, a customer relations agent escorted us... There is only one King David, the grand dame of Jerusalem. Great location. Wonderful hotel experience! The concierge staff were fabulous, they never tired of my many questions! The breakfasts selections were fabulous for all tastes. We had a lovely, modern room facing the Old City...great view! The King David is steeped in history, but it is a most contemporary... More

I return to the King David every summer, and we are never disappointed. The view from the rooms overlooking the old city is straight out of a storybook. The grounds are magnificent and the pool area is really beautiful. Service is excellent, and I always feel at home and welcomed there. Breakfast is a special event at the King David.... More

This is a classic hotel in a historic building in a perfect location with great views of the old city of Jerusalem. The service is first class - a bit old world and can seem a bit pretentious at times but they are really very nice and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy. The restaurant... More

We stayed at the King David Hotel for eleven nights. We had 2 connecting rooms on the 5th floor with views of the Old City. Everything about the hotel is magnificent and absolutely first class. The rooms were very large - our 4 children were able to fit comfortably in one room - and the decor and amenities were tasteful... More

The King David lives up to it's name. It is regal in every-way! The hotel has also a long string of celebrity guests - almost a complete international who's who list. But what impressed me was that they really go out of the way to make one feel at ease and at home there. When we need to leave very... More
