This was my first trip to Israel and I loved it, we felt so safe and looked after, this is the nicest hotel I've every been too, and we have saved hard for the trip, but we were still looked after as if we were royalty. The views are amazing and at no time did we feel uncomfortable or frightened.... More

I have stayed here before, and this was a return visit. The King David has old world charm not found in any other hotel in Jerusalem. Also,it is a resort with its vast grounds, and sweeping views of the old city. Always happy to be here.

The King David's history made it a "must" for our stay. That said the furnishings and rooms are out dated and could use a make-over. The outdoor space is beautiful, the restaurants OK. The hair dryer provided was awful, as was the extra cot brought in for one of our rooms for an overnight visit by a relative. The carpets... More

The King David has a lot of history and is, undeniably, a grand hotel. The lobby is beautiful, the terrace has stunning views and the pool area is excellent. However the guest service leaves something to be desired and is certainly not up to the standard of global 5-star hotels. Housekeeping are overly-anxious to make-up your room in the morning,... More

I returned to the King David for 3 nights. There is something special about the outdoor terrace with a view of the walls of the old city. The upper floor rooms are beautiful and I had an old city view. The service could be quicker but that is the only complaint for an otherwise exceptional property.

I'll start with my conclusion: the King David has a culture of deceiving its guests as a result of having to cover up its fade from its glorious past. We considered staying at other top hotels in the area with our other top choice being the Waldorf Astoria. Though it was a tough decision we decided on the King David... More

Recently my husband and I returned to the King David Hotel for two fabulous weeks in Israel. We have had such positive experiences there in the past, that there was no question as to where we would be staying. Once again we were treated like family by the entire staff. The concierge was so helpful with suggestions and dinner reservations.... More

This hotel holds so much history and truly stands as an iconic landmark in Jerusalem. We were on the renovated level of the Hotel so I can only speak to the quality of that room which was nice and felt new. The food was good, however, if you do not follow Kosher it makes each of the restaurants limiting but... More
