Everything was terrific from beginning to end. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who was all smiles and made us feel relaxed from the time we came in. We were fortunate to be upgraded to an executive suite which was one of the nicest rooms that we have ever stayed in and we have traveled extensively. We stayed... More

The King David is a Jerusalem landmark providing guests with a wonderful experience. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years and every single stay was memorable. This reviewed stay had been in one of the hotel's duplex suites with extensive views of the Old City of Jerusalem. The suite has a unique structure which... More

We have had the good fortune to stay in this hotel twice in recent months and we are already looking forward to our next stay. The King David is the five star flagship of the Dan Hotel Group which in our opinion is the number one hotelier in Israel. Upon our arrival, the doorman warmly greeted us, took charge of... More

The King David has hosted royalty, heads of state, and dignitaries of all varieties for decades and there's a reason! This historic hotel is well situated with spacious and comfortable accommodations, and the best breakfast buffet in Israel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you go, be sure to watch the video on the history of the hotel

Uncompromising service. Great food. Unparalleled location near all the main tourist sites of the city. The large pool is a great place to be on a hot day with a beautiful view of the Old City walls. There is only one place to stay in Jerusalem - the historic (and recently updated) King David Hotel.

We spent 2 weeks at the King David for a veritable Bucket List(TM) trip in late February-early March. I asked for a handicapped room near the elevator with a shower chair and that's what we got. When we arrived, the front desk handled two very cranky, jetlagged middle aged Americans with aplomb. Our room was spacious and had a sitting... More

I have stayed in several of Jerusalem's larger hotels over the years, but none compares to the King David. By far, this is Jerusalem's finest hotel. Beautifully maintained in both the guest rooms and common areas, with outstanding and friendly service, an amazing breakfast buffet, beautiful back gardens and pool area there is simply nothing else like it in the... Staying at The King David was on my bucket list! For so many years I heard people rave about their stay at the hotel. On this recent trip, I decided to go for it! The rate was expensive. For 3 people in the room we paid 648$ US dollars. In return we had a 1 bedroom suite- which were 2... More

Dear Maris G, Thank you for sharing your experiences following your recent stay with us; it is through comments from our guests that we are able to develop. Throughout the hotel, every effort is made to ensure the highest levels of guest service and attention, so it is always a regret if a guest leaves disappointed in any way. While... More

My husband treated me to 3 nights here and it was superb. The hotel is close to everything and history seeps from every corner of this beautiful hotel. Take time to walk around, sit in the lobby with a cup of tea or in the reading room and then have a nightcap at the Oriental bar. I promise you won't... More
