I stayed at the King David for the first five nights of a sixteen night visit to Israel (13 nights on a tour). None of the other hotels we stayed at on the trip matched the quality of the King David (the closest was the Hilton Tel Aviv which I will review elsewhere). Having traveled to Europe before for both... more

This was our second time staying at the King David in Jerusalem. Service was impeccable and friendly, room grand with a great view of the old city. Israeli buffet breakfasts are legendary, the King Davids was even better and table service (which is often lax at buffets) was quick and professional. more

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Every time I come back, it is always a pleasure. This stay, I was upgraded to a garden terrace room, which was heavenly. The staff at the front desk are always welcoming and accommodating. The Staff in the dining room really know how to make you feel at home.... more

Dear TripAdvisor member, Thank you for acknowledging the advantage of our location and the house-keeping performance. We also appreciate your remarks, although some of them need clarification. The hotel's rooms underwent major renovations and refurbishment in 1997. All the hotel rooms are equipped with flat plasma TV sets. Furthermore, the upper floors will be fully reconstructed and transformed into executive...

Having stayed at the King David many times in the last 10 years, for us the King David is without doubt the finest hotel in Jerusalem. From the warmth of the welcome we receive to the friendliness of the staff, from the ambiance and comfort of the bedrooms to the fabulous new pool area and the magnificent gardens and terrace,... more

It is expensive, but well worth it. The location is supreme and the views of Old Jerusalem are awesome. The history of the hotel is incredible. The service is subpar in many respects (compared to other cultures), but I found that to be the case in most if not all of Jerusalem and Israel in general. Massage in the hotel... more
