It is a very high quality hotel, no doubts about it. Also, it is very well situated. Re. the price - shop around. I came for the conference and then stayed over the weekend, so I was not comparing the hotels and was using the conference rate. Re. one rather unusual advantage - fastest laundry I have even seen. If... More

The good: Location is terrific. Nice views and easy 10 minute walk to the old city. Excellent pool and common areas. Free city parking lot across the street. Full breakfast included. The bad: Unfortunately the rooms are not tidy and could use some refurbishing. Some of the furniture appeared to have years of caked on dust. Some outlets did not... More

Decent Israeli hotels come at a price. The mount Zion is an exception in that it offers great value for your money. The only draw back is that its not in walking distance of the Kotel and surrounds. But being on a private family tour, this was not a problem. Service was excellent. Great pool area. Fair ly typical israeli... More

We stayed here on a tour so cannot comment on the value for the price and our tour price was very reasonable. Our room 596 had a patio and a beautiful view of the grounds and the old city but required the use of both elevators and stairs to get to. The beds, bath and tv were nothing special (in... More

We stayed in room 706 which is one of only 3 rooms with balconies (706 has the largest balcony). Although the hotel has elevators, the rooms with baclonies require climbing one flight of stairs. The views from the room's balcony of the Dormition and of Silwan are gorgeous and unbeatable. We paid $300 for this room. There was a welcome... More

This hotel looks amazing. The views from the hotel lobby is amazing. Location is fantastic. Pleasantly greeted by security/front door. The rest of the staff (front desk, spa, pool, bar) seemed annoyed to have to work there. Annoyed to check in/out, explain services, distribute towels, etc. Internet is expensive. $6 per hour or $25 per day. Breakfast was good. Hotel... More

What can one say about this hotel? The location is spot on within walking distance of the Jaffa gate and overlooking the walls of the old city with East Jerusalem in the back ground. The hotel itself is beautiful and the top end accommodation is stunning with dark cool suites off small private green courtyards. Breakfasts are a buffet affair... More

I was torn between the King David and Mt. Zion for a recent 5 night stay in Jerusalem. I have stayed at many top hotels and have a true appreciation for authenticity and character so the Mt. Zion won out in the end. I wouldn't classify it as a true 5 star hotel, but our time there was worthy of... More

Start with a unique building -- a hotel converted from a 19th century hospital built into, not on, Mount Zion. Add the highest standard in finishings and furnishings. Staff it with friendly, helpful staff attentive to every detail. Then, include a wide range of rooms which are spacious, uniquely designed, quiet and comfortable. Enhance it with a superb spa, Turkish... More
