The Har Tzion has the most wonderful Moroccan decor and a beautiful feel. The grounds of this hotel far exceed most in Jerusalem. The front desk is knowledgeable about Jerusalem and will not guide you wrong. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path of the larger, more well known hotels but from the Mt. Zion you have a stunning... more

We had concerns about the accessability to parts of town from the hotel. It was in walking distance from the German Colony where they are many good restaurants. Next door the hotel the Cinematique also good food. We walked on the footpath above the road to the old city. We walked through the park to the King David and YMCA.... more

I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Mount Zion & loved every minute of it. The hotel absolutely ooozes old world atmosphere with its stunning views of Jerusalem, eastern decor, & tranquil garden. Even though I had a standard room there was a pretty good view of Jerusalem & I can only imagine how great the views... more

For this price category, this is good value had a big suite with a view. Nice breakfast room. Interesting building and pool area. Only problem is restaurant closed for Sabbath so this is not full service. Nowhere to within walking distance. If only the opened the restaurant all week long it would be perfect. more

This is a beautiful hotel located in a renovated eye hospital. The building is over 100 years old, and has a lot of character, as well as history. The furnishings in the halls and other public rooms are beautiful and interesting. The lobby and bar area have good views of Jerusalem. We stayed in a citadel room which was nicely... more

Although we were in Jerusalem in the "very off" season and seemed to be the ONLY ones in the hotel, the staff went out of the way to give us an enjoyable week in their city. There were 20 of us total in our group, but every morning they presented a breakfast buffet that could have fed 100 - with... more

The Mount Zion came highly recommended by friends and our travel agent. I'm not sure if standards have gone down there, or if we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but we did not have a great experience. We are not picky travelers, however cleanliness at hotels is on the top of my list for... more
