I moved to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv by bus. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Central Station. The room number is 550, where is the corner and the view through window is fine. Accommodation fee is reasonable comparing with that of the hotel of Tel Aviv. Bath tub is furnished and it is cozy to stay.... More

Just as some of the previous reviewers, I stayed at this hotel with a group during the Taglit/Birthright program. The downside of which is - you cannot leave the group (ever), and you can't leave the hotel while the group is in there, even if all the daily activities are over. So we were all pretty pissed that we had... More

absolutely inhumane practice of charging guests for wifi 20 NIS per day! People have to go to a cafe nearby to check their email. everything else seems to be good, there are many people staying here, but lack of free wifi ruins the whole experience.

I've been to the hotel for one night. The hotel is at the entrance yo the city, and near to yhe central bus staion and after it will be finished near to yhe rail station. The rooms are comfort with a big bed for 2 and clean room. You will receive a welcom packeg incloding tea or coffee and snack.... More

We stayed in the Jerusalem gate hotel for 3 nights as part of a tour we were doing. The biggest gripe we had was the lack of free wifi. To purchase wifi was an option but it was an expensive option and nearly all the hotels we stayed in offered free wifi with accommodation. Meals were unimaginative and the restaurant... More

Hotel was just about okay. Its at the entrance of Jerusalem so its quite practical also driving wise. Hotel is a bit run down, and breakfast was served in a not-cozy fashion. I was lucky that my room had another door leading to a "balcony" which was actually a huge huge rooftop. The price was okay for what they offered.

The whole family stayed over a weekend. I had to switch rooms due to the lack of cleanliness and another family member had to switch as well. I wouldn't say the second room was much better. Food was not good and there weren't many options. Bed was not comfortable and pretty hard. I was happy to check out.

Nice amenities, wonderful staff. Clean lobby. Wi-fi access is spotty...especially in the rooms. Our bed was old, hard and had a dip. Food in the restaurant was just ok, but the staff was excellent. Clean rooms.

On a pilgrimage to the Holy Land we stayed at the Jerusalem Gate Hotel for 4 nights while in Jerusalem. The room I stayed in had slightly dated furniture but the bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of space for hanging clothes and laying out suitcases. The bathroom was more modern looking although the shower had some... More
