It is the first time i have ever been to a hotel, and found nothing to complain about. In fact, the opposite. Outstanding service from start to finish, The evening meal, sitting at the bar, speaking and learning from the expert Chef, was very enthralling, including a wonderful meal.Room was very lasrge, with great facilities, Will return again,

We took week in Ein Kerem to get some well-deserved R&R. To start off our holiday we booked a massage at the Alegra Hotel Spa in Ein Kerem just down the street from where we stayed - The Sisters of Zion Monastery. The spa room is in a separate building just down the alley from the main hotel building and... More

The Alegra is a gem of a hotel situated in the Ein Kerem neighbourhood of Jerusalem. Steeped in greenery this authentic stone covered building provides a wonderful experience from the moment you walk through its gates, leaving behind everything urban. We stayed in a lovely suite, one of several beautifully decorated suites. Were it not for the fact that we... More

No parking, no wi-fi, no extra sheets, breakfast was served late.I don't recommend staying at the hotel. There is no parking, the wi-fi didn't work in both rooms. When we asked for extra sheets we were told that there were none to have. We were told that breakfast would be served at a certain hour in our rooms, but we had... More

Hello Keren, We at hotel "Alegra" are proud to be a "hidden pearl of Jerusalem" locationwise. This is what many of our guests call us for the impeccable quality of service, friendly and professional attitude and village-like Toscanian landscapes captured by Ein Karem. We are a young boutique hotel, striving for the name "boutique" and doing our best to satisfy... More

This property is located in the hills just outside of Jerusalem in Ein Kerem. It's not necessarily easy to find and proved slightly tricky for taxi drivers. That said, it was WELL worth the trek. The property is exquisite. The gardens are gorgeous and its the perfect place to chill. The restaurant is amazing and they do a chef's table... More

The room was outstanding!!! Large, spacious, looking out on to their beautiful garden. The only issue is with the door to the bathroom, it offered little privacy. Breakfast was very good. Alegra's Kitchen-Alegra's Kitchen is the hotel's restaurant. In the restaurant there are two options of sitting - a chef table and private tables. Our chef, Yaron Vinkler, is an experienced well known chef, whose culinary choices are influenced by the local growths and the authentic kitchen of both Israel and Jerusalem. The wonderful breakfast includes homemade breads and focaccias that are baked in a hot stone oven called a "Tabun". Shakshuka - a traditional Israeli egg dish poached in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, peppers and herbs, a vegetables Salad, a variety of cheeses and more. The chef's dinner is a special experience with 6-7 courses, which all are cooked in front of the guests in our open kitchen. The courses are put together from fresh ingredients that are found in the local market. Hot and cold drinks are included as well. ... more   less
