This hostel is excellent. Great location, friendly staff, a wonderful atmosphere - and really offers something a little different. To begin: the hostel bar, which has an amazing selection of beers, wines and cocktails - and generous Happy Hour/s prices. As a Kiwi, I'm very particular about my wine - but the Israeli reds they had included in their Happy... More

I stayed at Abraham Hostel with my friends. We really enjoyed the Hostel. We met other travelers from many countries (we shared, tasted food etc. with them) in the open plan ktichen.dining room/lounge bar. It's a big place where everyone could stay friendly. The rest room was very hepful for me when I needed to spend time quietly. Very good... More

Located a 20 minute walk from the old city of Jerusalem, Abraham hostel is massive, incredibly well-furbished, has excellent staff, and sees a huge amount of travelers. We stayed in dorms during our stay and they were standard hostel flair. Bunks, florescent lights, some shelves. Where Abraham Hostel really shines however, is the community it fosters with guests staying at... More

The hostel was generally OK, very much aimed at disoriented backpackers. BUT arriving on a Fri we ordered the shared meal prepared by guests. On volunteering I was given a bowl of salad vegetables and a knife. I asked about washing my hands and was told "oh you can if you like". Other guests didn't bother. I saw one guy... More

Dear traveler. Our famous communal Shabbat dinner is a meal cooked by our guests who are all independent mature travelers, like yourself. In the kitchen there are soap dispensers, towels and paper towels available for usage. As we do not cater for youth but to +18 year old people, we are trusting them to take their own decisions. Obviously hygiene... More

I stayed at Abraham Hostel for four nights at the beginning of October and had a great time. It's a fairly big place but I really enjoyed the atmosphere, with the open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge bar being a great place to hang out. I stayed in a dorm room, which had excellent sized slide out lockers under the bunks and... More

It feels like home. It is very clean, you get breakfast in the morning, you can wash/dry/iron-press clothes, all for a reasonable price. There is always someone in the living room that wants to speak with you, so even if you travel alone you never feel alone. Location is great: close to everything: market, old city, tram, supermarkets, cafe's and pubs, Ben Yehuda... More

When I got here they were great and got me check in and explained everything to me. The dorm rooms were good with bunks and lockers. But after that the questions I had for the front desk none of the staff could answer. The tour desk was able to answer some of my questions but it was like trying to... More

My daughter and I stay at the hostel for 16 days and we had an amazing time. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. They arrange lots of entertainment at the hostel itself but you were free to do whatever you wanted to do. We had a lovely room with T.V. , air-con , wi-fi and bathroom en-suite. It was... More

The tour desk at the main reception was a fantastic idea. Night activities are also a plus although we decided not to join as we had a really exhausting day. Convenient location with excellent transport links right at the doorstep.
