I stayed at Abraham Hostel for the first time for one night recently and it was truly the most unique and lovely experience I've ever had at a hostel. What makes this place so different? The first thing is that it offers far more than other hostels for roughly the same price. At most places around the world I usually... More

Dorm was quite nice although no place to hang clothes. Hot water for shower was on a timer that you set prior for 20 minutes to get it hot. Bedding provided as were towels. Take along hand towel and washcloth if you need as not provided. Nice lounge area as well as rooftop area. Tours and activities can be booked... More

I've stayed in the 3 of more 'popular' hostels in Jerusalem, the Citadel, the Jerusalem hostel, and the Abraham hostel. The Abraham hostel is easily the best of the 3. Each of the beds in the 'dorm rooms' have secure lockable cabinet. It has a very large and spacious lounge/kitchen area. The employees are easily the friendless and most helpful.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect. Best part is that the hostel doesn't just cater for the backpackers but everyone else as well. The single rooms with private room are fantastic value for Israel. I participated in the Shabath diner and it was an awesome experience. Stay there!

Needed somewhere to stay last minute and came across Abraham Hostel online. I haven't stayed in a hotel since I was 16 and I am now 32. So with that said I was a bit dubious about staying in one again. Abraham Hostel is in a great location. Less than 30 seconds from shops, coffee shops and the tram. Outside... More

Abraham Hostel has completely ruined me for hostels forever; it was such a cool hostel and was also so extremely comfortable and clean, that now no other hostel can measure up. I stayed in the 6-bed female dorm. There's always the chance that it can be awkward when you are staying with strangers, but the facilities made things as comfortable... More

I stayed here for two nights with two friends. We booked the co-ed 10-bed dorm. Upon arrival, the person at reception was very distracted--he would do things like take our credit cards, then walk away, or give us a key, ignore us, then tell us he wasn't done when we started to walk away. We were placed in a room... More

Hi Dear, I would like to thank you for leaving a review about our hostel. I am happy to hear you liked our tours, Shabbat dinner, and free breakfast. We appreciate the negative reviews as much as the positive, for it helps us to learn and improve. I am sorry to hear about your experience. I will personally mention it... More

Welcoming athmosphere, reosonable prizes and very helpful staff. Abraham hostel is the first stay where breakfast was a highlight. My children 1 and 3 years old had a good time too! We had a perfect stay!

It was my first solo trip and first time staying at a hostel. I was nervous sharing a room with ten other people. But it was awesome! I'm glad that Abraham was my first experience. The roof top was really cool. They have hammocks you can just chill on. The tours are cool. Really fun people from all around the... More

I stayed five nights in this hostel with a friend, and found it to be very comfortable and convenient. It's not a five-star hotel but it's half the price and everything that I needed while in Jerusalem. It's great that it's just an easy, straight, 20 minute walk to the Old City, or, the Davidka Square tram stop is just... More
