they have tons of information on tours, trips, and where to go. very helpful staff and lots of activities going on. room was just average for the price, though the AC was strong. it had to be as it is right on a busy street so it will be loud if the window is open. breakfast was a nice addition.

I think what impressed me least about this hostel was the value. At $30 USD a night per person for a 6-person dorm style room, it was on the expensive side. If travelling with a friend, you could get a hotel room elsewhere in the city for a similar price (60-70 USD). I don't remember the exact price of the... More

Very nice friendly stuff. The hostel offers lots of activities..you can never get bored here! :) - parties, dinners, games, football watching, nice rooftop.. And also wide range of tours to the most interesting parts of Israel. Great location!

I booked our stay at the Abraham because I had wanted to do their 2 day Petra tour (highly recommend!) and it made sense to stay where the tour was departing from. All in all the room, staff and service were all very nice but I definitely felt a little old for this hostel (late 20's). This is the ideal... More

I had the impression that this hostel has almost become a hotel, suffering from an identity crisis, which makes it very difficult to make a precise review. While as a hostel, the services offered are more elaborate than you might normally expect in a budget accommodation; as a hotel it leaves much to be desired. Considering the high prices all... More

Dear traveler. Thank you for your comments. We value our guests' comments in our ongoing effort to improve our services for future travelers. Abraham Hostel, as it's name, is a HOSTEL and not a hotel. All out marketing channels state that clearly in order to set expectations right. Our main focus is on creating a social atmosphere for our guests... More

Well, I have booked this hostel in Jerusalem just for it's great overall score from it's visitors. Overall impression - average hostel, not the best I've been visited in my life. The worst thing there was that you are feeling like in conveyor. Nobody cares too much about you, everywhere there are many people, reception is always full and if... More

Dear traveler. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay in our hostel. We are putting great efforts in bringing a personal touch into each and everyone of our guests even though reception indeed might be crowded at times. I will personally see that our staff will do better on this matter from now on. Wifi, cleaning or any... More

If you're young, wild, open to experiences and short on money, this is the place for you. It's not only value for money, it's the value itself that is extraordinary and rarely seen in Israel (and I'm a local...). Many people probably realized it before I did, and they keep flocking in here from all over the world. The location... More

Abraham Hostel was a great hostel to stay in. It was clean, friendly and in a convenient location. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. It's a great place to meet people from all over the world and I would recommend this place to anyone who wished to stay in Jerusalem.

The good: Just about everything. The rooms are really comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I asked to change my room my first night and they did without asking any questions. They also gave me a free drink at the bar and piece of pie after I had a bad experience with a rude person in Jerusalem.... More
