No guest here but I understood later what is the reason. This guest house staff don't know "how to earn money" and "what is the hospitality". They love acting for getting money. Also a man from the guest house said to me "Your English is no good." I don't speak perfect English but shouldn't say like this for an English... More

I have spent one of the most memorable times of my life in the Armenian Guesthouse. You can not wish for any better location, it is situated right in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem, on the Via Dolorosa. The vivid courtyard of the guesthouse is the most multicultural experience one can ever have. It is just wonderful... More

Located in the heart of Jerusalem, the armenian guest house is the place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. In armenian guest house really soaks up the atmosphere of Jerusalem. I have tried other places, but none were quite as brilliant. Also the call to prayer in the morning is part of the whole... More

I have been in the Armenian Guest House in November 2013, and i really enjoyed my stay. I was traveling solo, and i had no problems whats so ever. Alex the general manager is a very nice guy, very helpful, and knows his job well. Before confirming my booking, keeping in mind i was traveling alone, I was asking Alex... More

Firstly, unless you have one of the two superior guest rooms do not stay here. Nothing can be guaranteed. There are only three good things about the Armenian Guest House; it is in the Old City; a good taxi driver can get you to the property via the Lions Gate without dragging you bags through the town; and it is... It's very important that people who will read your review to know that you didn't make a direct reservation with the Guest House, you came to us through a Travel Agent, we don't know what you paid for the room but we are 100% sure that we didn't receive all what you paid for the room. It's normal that the... More

We stayed in the Armenian Guest House despite our misgivings after reading some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the accommodation very adequate, the location surperb. They weren't always brilliant at dealing with problems, but certainly it was a nice stay.

Stayed at the Armenian Guest House as part of a group of 19 people Sept 19 to 23 2013 While the location is good in the Old City, the quality and service was poor. We had no hot water for 24 hours, others in our group had none for several days. The towels were thread bare, no soap or shampoo supplied.... More

We stayed at the Armenian Guesthouse for 3 nights in May. It was supposed to be 4 nights, but on Jerusalem Day, the Old City was closed (Jewish settlers had occupied Al-Aqsa Mosque), and we couldn't get to the guesthouse. They wouldn't refund our deposit, and wouldn't even consider a compromise (splitting it 50-50), even though some of us had... More

First of all we accept every review, every one has his own opinion but to lie on public this is unacceptable. We want to mention that the guide of this group called late at night one day before their arrival to the guest house saying that they changed planes & that they will arrive a day later. Do you think... More

I wanted to comment on how wonderful the guest house and its staff was. We found Jerusalem rather intimidating in some ways but our accommodations were really superb and made the experience much more enjoyable. We really appreciate the help from the women working there, all of whom were competent, friendly and generous to an unusual degree.
