Stayed in a private room which was clean, had A/C, free basic breakfast and close to Damascus Gate. Would stay here again. Didn't have much to do with the hotel staff but thought they were positive. No complaints.

dirty, mean and underhanded staff, was physically assaulted by the owner's father and wanted to press charges, but I felt it was better to just leave. fleas, bedbugs, stray cats running in and out. There was always a lot of screaming and shouting going on among the staff and it felt like a very unstable place to be. If you... More

I would not consider to stay here again if ever back in Jerusalem. It is not a terrible place but it is far from being a pleasant experience. Staff pretend to be friendly but they can't wait for you to pay and leave asap, if they give you a better room or a free breakfast be prepared to have that... More

While this may be one of the cheapest hostels around, you really need to think twice about saving a few dollars in exchange for one of the worst forms of customer service I've ever seen. After a long day, I checked into the Palm Hotel to see if there was a bed available (there was plenty in fact). As I... More

Clean rooms with all basic necessities and commodities. Free breakfast, coffee, wifi, close to the old city and located in a busy shopping district. On top of that, the owner and workers are unbelievably friendly and I found some of my best times were spent sitting in the breakfast room conversing with them for hours at a time. Really a... More

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Jerusalem. We were a large group that arrived in the middle of the night, but the staff was extremely hospitable and even put us in private rooms because we had had a long trip. The location cannot be better. It is right across the street from the Damascus Gate of... More

I was in 1 of the 8 bed dorms. I think a place like this depends on your expectations. It's the cheapest place in Jerusalem and considering that I was perfectly happy. A previous reviewer said if you have visited India before you'll be fine. I have and totally agree. This is not super luxurious but I wouldn't call it... More

A friend and I shared a twin room with private bathroom for 2 nights. The location, just outside Damascus gate, is unbeatable. It was so easy to get here from the bus station and back, and we popped in and out of the Old City so easily. The breakfast spread is delicious, and you can't complain about free coffee and... More

I stayed in this hostel more than a week. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk and you're entering the old city. The stuff is so friendly and helpful. They shared interesting stories with us and even invited me for a wedding. The rooms are very clean and basic. I would definitely go there again!

We only booked here as it was the cheapest we could find. The hostel side looks good on first arrival, and they are kept very clan by a lovely girl, who seems to be cleaning 24/7. Our room though- number 35 was tiny, dirty, and smelly. the mattress was waffer thin, you could feel the metal slats of the bed.... More
