We only booked here as it was the cheapest we could find. The hostel side looks good on first arrival, and they are kept very clan by a lovely girl, who seems to be cleaning 24/7. Our room though- number 35 was tiny, dirty, and smelly. the mattress was waffer thin, you could feel the metal slats of the bed.... More

The hostel is located really close to the Old Town, it's relatively cheap, the owner is really nice, there is free breakfast and tea (also mint and other herbs) and coffee. The only disadvantage is the cleanliness - bed linens and pillows looked really old and dirty, the bathroom was rather untidy (we had a room with our own bathroom).... More

I hope you're not making the same mistake as I did. When you first entry the hotel you know from the beginning that it was a fault to book here. Bathroom: I've never been to such a disgusting place ever in my life!! Beds: Only my imagination makes me vomit. Brakfast: a joke. the staff was friendly

stayed there 2 nights and we were happy with what we got for our money - had a double room, quite small and the after the shower the whole bathroom was wet - the breakfast is simple but tasty. The staff was very friendly in explaining to us how to get to certain sights around Jerusalem and Palestine -

We spent one night here and I wouldn't say we actually slept. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a descent breakfast and free tea and coffee, however this does not make up for the dirty sheets, awful bathroom and constant noise. To be avoided unless you can get a steep discount!

Alex and Mahmoud are kings of hospitality. They were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Also the location above the fruit market, immediately next to Al-Ayed Restaurant (shwarma and falafel are cheap and delicious), and right outside the Damascus Gate cannot be beat. I would recommend this hostel 100 times!!!

The service I experienced was friendly and always able to help. The location is perfect and would definitely recommend this hostel/hotel for those who want a long stay or value/ place o put your head for the night. Refreshment are free (tea and coffee) and so to is wifi. Go expecting value not luxury, just like if you walked into... More

We arrived in Jerusalrm at 7 am after a long journey from Iceland. Although check in was not until 11 the owner let us (3 girls) into our dorm to sleep which was highly appriciated. The room (6 person female dorm) was bright and cosy although I can agree with some of the comments stating that the bedsheets were not... More

This place is terrible. Photos on hostel world are not of this location and I'm fairly sure some of the reviews are put up by the owner. Place is terrible. Like a slum. Do not stay here. Cardboard for a mattress. Extremely dirty rooms and bathrooms.

it's so disgusting hostel I ever stayed. manager had very high-handed attitude to customers even we asked something when they didn't give us proper service. No good at all. the only one good thing is very close from Damascas Gate. that's it.
