I really can't understand what people are moaning about?! For roughly 10 pounds a night (for a dorm) you get a comfy bed with a delicious breakfast in a great location, hosted by helpful and friendly staff - ok it's not the Ritz but for what you're paying it's superb! The guys know the town really well and are always... More

I'm not sure what people are expecting from such cheap prices & in such a central location, but this is a hostel NOT a hotel. I have travelled extensively & this hostel is basic, but provides what you need for a couple of days. I have stayed in some real cack-holes around the world & this place was absolutely fine.... More

Dear friends! I am with some experience in traveling, but I never have not seen it. On arrival was asked for 80 shekels more than was on booking.com. There were no towels, bed linen bleaching. Room smells after using the toilet. There is no air conditioner, outside was summertime +35C. The window opened to the night market - a big... More

Having stayed here last year I decided on it's better the devil you know. I walked up past the fruit market and to where I knew the receptionist would be (not at reception), he was in his side office. First impressions aren't good with him, he was on his phone and playing Candy Crush Saga. With a decided lack of... More

Although the hostel is very basic, it was a convenient place to stay for such a large group of students. It is not easy to find an affordable hostel for 40 people. Location is perfect and easy accessible by bus. A cute little bakery is just around the corner and is open 24/7, so it is really unnecessary to take... More

As mentioned in other reviews, the management of this "hostel" prey on the weak, and provide the worst service I've ever had in my life. They try to appeal to (and take advantage of) Palestinian sympathizers by (WRONGLY) claiming that Israel does not allow them to use shekels (Israeli currency) because they are Palestinian, and, therefore, they have to charge... This is a Palestinian ran hostel. The bottom floor is a produce market but the upper floors a bit cleaner. The room was three single size beds smashed together with a shower room that had a clogged drain. It did have a somewhat clean appearance. The free breakfast was not bad, hard boiled eggs, humus, salsa and bread. The free... More

As a frequent traveller, this hostel is the worst so far. From the very first moment you walk into the reception you could tell what kind of hostel it is. The room was dark and filthy. The blanket and the mattress seemed never washed. I was put into a room with a guy who snored terribly. None of us in... More

Being 100 meters from Damascus Gate and the light rail means old Jerusalem is right there and easy to access if your going to spend a lot of time in there. But the hostel itself is noisy (it sits above a small fruit & veggie market), no mirror in the bathroom kind of inconvenience , a few people there complianed... More

This place is the worst thing i ever tried. When we arrive they charge us over double Price of what we have booked it to. We haggle them down so we "only" have to pay 300 nis instead of 180 nis that we booked it to. (That is without breakfast, wifi, coffee ect.) The owner threaden us byt telling us... More
