The hotel was absolutely amazing, we had no idea what it would be like since it was our first time but we loved it. The location is one of its key factors. The walk from the hotel to the al aqsa mosque(which I visited several times a day) can be a rather lengthy one at times but holds a wonderful... More

While clearing up an "invoice problem",someone entered my room and took cash and a bank card.Only noticing after cab driver drove me around and charged me every cent I had on me,leaving me no money to pay for shuttle.Stress full times.Leaving my camera as a deposit on the 60 shekels owed, this too ballooned to 165 shekels before I finally got... I was in Jerusalem a few times and have always stayed in New Victoria hotel. Very pleasant and friendly staff. They treat every guest individually and try to fulfill all wishes. Nothing is not a problem. I definitely recommend!!!

Excellent hotel in East Jerusalem very close to the Damascus and Herod Gates. It's in a rambling, rundown building which could do with some renovation but we never found this to be a problem. The rooms are a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and hangers to hang up your things. We never found noise... More

I can see why many people may rate this as high as they do. I have travelled the world and stayed in many hotels across the spectrum but I think it needs to be pointed out that the facilities are terrible. The location is great from a proximity to Old City, but while I didn't feel unsafe, many would be... More

Ok hotel for the price. When I contacted them before arriving for directions they told me to get a cab from the bus station. A cab from the airport and bus station is expensive. You can easily reach this hotel by getting the frequent tram to Damascus gate - it's about a 10 minute walk from there.

This hotel was by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Jerusalem. It's close proximity to the Old City makes it a perfect place to stay for tourist like myself. That's not to mention it's close proximity to the cheap bus which takes you to the most beautiful scenic view of Jerusalem, none other that the Mountain of Olives... More

Due to the low prices we did not expect nothing special. Clean big room, good breakfast, helpful staff. The hotel is located in an old building but is partially restored. Mattress seems new and is very comfortable to sleep. The walls are thin and it is noisy ... also we heard the noise from the street. The hostel is located... More

As a first-time solo traveler/Israel tourist, this was the wrong hotel for me. I stayed one night and then switched hotels. If you are looking for a hotel that is low cost, clean, no frills, just a place to sleep, then this might be a good choice for you. I left before the included breakfast, so can't comment. A great budget hotel that is clean and family friendly. The price was reasonable and the location is very good. Away from the busy streets yet only round the corner from one of the main streets leading up to the old city 'Salah ad-Din street'. 5-10 mins walk to Herod's Gate and 15 mins to Al-Aqsa. This may seem a... More
