I have stayed here 2 times over the past few years and highly enjoy this hotel. Located just 5 min from Damascas Gate, you can pop into the Old City of Jerusalem anytime. This is great for evening walks or if you are tired and want a quick siesta, you don't have to go far to get back to the... More

We stayed at the Legacy for 5 nights while on a tour of Israel and the Palestinian territories. The food in the restaurant was very good--we ate there for breakfast and several nights for dinner. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The rooms are adequate and it's just a stones thrown from the Damascus Gate and the old city.... More

We spent a very pleasant weekend at the Legacy. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the Old City. The food in the restaurant was so tasty that we decided to eat there the next night too. Recommended for a reasonably priced 3-4 star base for touring Jerusalem.

I would happily stay at the Legacy again - clean comfortable room, breakfast with good healthy food options, nice relaxed garden bar. Less than 5 mins walk to Damascus Gate or to the light rail station just round the corner. Staff friendly and helpful. On departure I asked the receptionist to pass on an envelope with cash to the tour... More

Modern building, no oriental charme but with personality and excellent room fare. Big rooms, clean, silent, very good breakfast from the panoramic top. Very helpful staff and great location because so close to Damascus gate, the heart of Jerusalem.

Our room had a huge balcony with a partial view onto the old city, which is 6 mins walk away. It was big and comfortable with a good bathroom, and of course a/c. All staff we met were friendy and courteous, speaking good English. The guarded free hotel car park opposite the entrance was a bonus. Breakfast was great and... More

Didn't stay in the hotel, i came for their garden. It's open all year around. It's nice to see Israelis, arabs and tourist spending nice evenings here. We came for the beer and for the Hookah my husband loves to smoke every now and than. The Service is warm and polite. The food is actually nice and not expensive.

Well positioned hotel although difficult to access by car! The staff are indifferent and dismissive of women - or that is how it appeared to me. They seem to resent being asked anything and when the air conditioning failed didn't bother to inform anyone. Once it was working they would not accept it wasn't and refused to check the room... Rooms are clean, comfy and size was okay. We had a room with a balcony. Quite nice really. The breakfast has reasonable variety, plenty of fresh fruit .Location is excellent-a very short walk from damascus gate and light rail. On Rosh Hashanah when the Jewish life shuts down, it was a brilliant place as quite a few of facilities were available.

the hotel's location is wonderful, it is near the U.S consulate in the eastern part of the town, just next to the historic old city. the rooms are wonderful, they are filled with many amenities in the bathroom. the breakfast was a bit poor, though the clientele should be very demanding, considering that many of their visitors were consuls and...
