The hostel is located on the main street leading to the Old City, also the street along which the Light Rail runs. The central location makes it a bit loud to comfortably fall asleep. Having stayed there one night, without the use of any other facilities, I would day that it is barely doable... The dorm rooms did not have... More

My friends and I stayed at the Jerusalem Hostel for 7 days. A would describe the place as very basic. To me, the only good thing about the hostel is its location – central and close to the Old City (about 15-minute walk). Having said that, the central location could also be a disadvantage, as it makes for a very... More

It's a really nice place to stay. I was in a double room which was a bit small but the hostel itself has a really nice atmosphere. I'm telling you the location of the hostel is awesome - just a 10-minute walk from the Old City. I would definitely stay there again. :)

private room was stinking, we stayed 2 nights, during shabbat, we needed new fresh towels, we had to look for staff, no one was at reception. eventually we found him resting on the roof garden, we asked if he could fetch 2 towels, but he said he wouldn't move downstairs because he could not be working till next day. Besides... More

We stayed here on the last day of our trip as we wanted a place located close to the old city and accessible by taxi. The price wasn't great then but The Jerusalem Hostel had the best location for my needs. Though the staff helped us out, none of them were cheerful or welcoming. In particular, we asked for help... Jerusalem is great. For the whole trip i had a very good stay in Israel, except for this hostel. I traveled alone, and stayed here for 3 nights. They offered me a tiny single room with a private bathroom for the first night. The room was so tiny that i can hardly move anywhere after putting myself and luggage in.... More

This was my second stay at this hostel.Myself and a male friend stayed here for 3 nights on the 10th of march.I requested 2 single beds but we were given a double,so I had the quilt while Opray had the dog blanket. On reflection I didn't bring this up at reception because it was late and we were shattered. We had a... The location is great and I really liked the service. It's very busy with a lot of guests so sometimes you have to be patient and wait briefly at reception. But the reception staff is very efficient and helpful. Reserving quite a bit ahead is the best way to get a nice private room. In the hostel building and the... More

Israel is great, but its biggest flaws are inflated prices. The Jerusalem Hostel was the first one we styed in and it proved to be poor and inadequate to its price. Run- down, dirty, smelly and not pleasant to stay in. The wi- fi only in the corridor ( this is at least a good opportunity to meet other travellers:))... More

This place is reasonably priced, I stayed in a female dorm with bathroom and shower in the room and a bathroom in the hallway if our in room was being used. Its location is right in front of tram for 6.9 sheckles. for 1hr of travel. or 15min walk to Old Jerusalem. Its a lively location, (nice for the who... More
