We had a recent stay at Havat Habaron. Our group included our family of 4 with my brother's family of 6. My brother lives in Bet Shemesh and was familiar with Zichron Ya'akov area. On the suggestion of a friend we made reservations at Havat Habaron. There web site showed a nice hotel situated on a hill slope overlooking the Mediterranean sea. We arrived on a Friday afternoon about 1:00 PM. We reserved three rooms. In the first room there were no towels in the room and the toilet seat was missing. The floors were dirty and the rooms in general were barely maintained. In the corner of one room by the door to the outdoor patio there was a large stain that appeared to be partially cleaned. The room reservation included Shabbot dinner.
We arrived at the dinning area at about 9:00 PM. The rooom was crowed and uncomfortably warm. The food was marginal at best. We saw insects in the bread baskets. At about 10PM the staff came over to our table and wanted us to leave so they...
