I won't bore you with the full detail of our trip; suffice it to say that our stay at the Dan Panorama was unsatisfactory to say the least The rooms are old and tired in furnishings, decor and amenities. The lobby was renovated a couple of years ago, but rooms were left untouched and have a late 70’s feel as... more

Hotel does need quite a big revamp. Other than that it is a average hotel with excellent views of Haifa. The room I stayed at (16th floor) is larger than normal. Got the feeling that the building was not initially designed to be a hotel but an apartment building that was converted into a hotel. Some nice bars, restaurants and... more

The only thing going for this hotel is the friendly receptionist. What a rip off. For the price I thought I would be getting something, but this hotel was just awful. Beware. I only stayed one day instead of two as I just couldnt stand this awful hotel. The rooms and I stayed in a so called Executive Room noisy,... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Dan Panorama Haifa during the week of Passover, 2009. Our room was quite large with a fabulous view of the Haifa bay. What we liked: the location is very central - shops, restaurants and even the Bahai Gardens and Temple are all within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was very good, many... more

Stayed here just for a night in April of 2008. I would say that I was surprised this hotel is ranked 5th. It's ok, but certainly nothing special other than the view. The view of of the bay and town below was amazing, but the room badly needed updating. It was clean and everything worked fine, but for a hotel... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our one-week vacation in Israel. We were already 'unimpressed' when we arrived with our hired car. We had stopped along the road outside the lobby to ask where the entrance to the hotel parking is, and the first response we got from unsmiling reception were "You have to be our hotel... more

The title of this review says it all. The rooms are small-ish and touch date in terms of decor, but totally clean and well appointed. If you have sea view, then you have an incredible view. If you don't have a sea view . . . well, you can look at the industrial plants or residential neighborhoods on the slopes... more

I stayed at the Dan Panorama for 5 nights while I was attending a conference in Haifa. The hotel is situated in the Carmel area, high on the mountain and overlooking the city. The nearest train station is Hof ha Carmel which is about a 1hr 20 minute journey from Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. The train costs 35... more

This hotel is in a fantastic location, with great views of Haifa and great facilities. Very closeby to lots of restaruants & cafes, and walking distance to the Bahai Temple. We had a ocean view room on the 16th floor which was beautiful. We were happy with our room, bathroom and the buffet breakfast. We even had a few drinks... more

We are a family of 5 who stayed for 10 nights in July, 2008. We had 2 rooms that were connected by closing a 3rd outer door and leaving our 2 doors open. The rooms were adequate and clean except for the floors (I don't think they vacumed very often). The safes were large enough for a laptop. The breakfast... more
