Considering how affordable 1926 Apartments is, I thought for sure we would get what we paid for. However, I was pleasantly surprised. What a great find. The rooms are big, the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect. Right by the #1 bus that runs all Shabbat so we could get around town and access the beach. Our... More

What a beautiful, immaculate hotel! We upgraded to the superior room which was so well decorated, huge and really comfortable. The owner is really nice and gave my son a ball to play with during our stay. He also gave us great tips on things to do in haifa. Its obvious he really cares about each guest. The area is... More

This hotel worked out great for us. We came for 2 nights in August with our 15mo old son. Room was spacious, quiet, nicely decorated and the kitchen seemed well stocked (we only used the fridge). There was a nice crib for our son. There is no tub in the bathroom which is small, but the kitchen sink is large... More

Cute and clean, friendly staff, but in the middle of a pretty quiet and still seedy downtown location (my Israeli friends say eventually it'll be genteel and gentrified, but right now it's still slowly under construction. And the subway mentioned hasn't been working for months!). Not really close to anything, bit sad to come home at night to. More fun... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it! The rooms are decorated in a fun unique way. It is located on a nice pedestrian street with shops and restaurants available nearby. We enjoyed the balcony very much. There was also a hair dryer available, which I appreciated since I did not bring mine. The staff... More

The room itself was spacious and clean with balcony. The bathroom was a bit worn and not that clean but acceptable. No problems with hot water. Kitchen big enough for making a breakfast or to warmup some simple food. Not much equipped so no big cooking possible. Location is good, 10 mins walk to german colony where there are restaurants... This is my second year staying while I checked on an aged relative. It now is my "go-to" place in Haifa. Everyone one of the staff is incredibly helpful, whether to call a taxi, direct you to where you want to go, or provide extra supplies. The room for me was airy, and while it was on the road side... Just finished 3 night stay. Very happy, all round. Service: Moshe is very thoughtful and helpful. From talking over local food options, to helping me directly book a rental car, to providing local bus route information, as well as saving me time & money by suggesting the train (a short walk from 1926) over transferring on a couple buses to... Spacious room, good location (pedestrian street with nice cafes). Clean and all buttons working. Staff is correct and discrete. They aim to give each of the rooms a different touch. (We had a bit of flower power) prices are fair, there is no breakfast, but the room had a kitchen & fridge, that's enough for having breakfast.

This was probably our favorite hotel in Israel. The rooms are actually spacious studio apartments tucked away in a non-toursity part of the port area that is being renovated. We found them to be very clean and extremely comfortable. The location is great with easy access to the trains, city buses, Wadi NisNas and the German Colony. It really did... More
