We stayed in the Villa Carmel hotel overnight during the Passover Holiday. The hotel is quiet, clean, well maintained and the staff is attentive. The rooms were well kept and the staff had no problem adding extra beds for children. There is even a Jacuzzi and sauna on the roof with a nice view. We hope that they will make... More

Starting off with the nearby neighbourhood - it seemed quiet, safe and yet close to shops and restaurants. As you walk in to the hotel, the Reception is a bit dark and dreary in need of a lick of paint and a good dusting. The rooms however are very different - light, bright and very pleasant. There are big windows... More

Don't let the hostel-like reception area deceive you. The rooms in this little hotel are of a unique design and are more spacious than in many other more modern hotels. Free internet and good breakfast are included. There is parking on site. The only issue with this hotel is location. It's not near the beach or anything else useful.

I had a great weekend at Villa Carmel in Hifa. The hotel is located in the outskirts of a residential neighborhood, with a number of local caffe's located within walking distance. The room standard is above average for 4 star hotels, nicely decorated and furnished, with a large real double bed not two joined beds. The bathroom is spacious well... More

Having stayed at several hotels in Haifa, both at the upper and lower city, this hotel provided a great staying experience for us with great cost/performance. It is situated right next to the Moria Blvd. at the top of the Carmel mountain and as such at a walking distance to all the major tourist locations that the upper city has... More

The Templars have created an oasis for tourists and pilgrims in early 20th century on the Carmel mountain to enjoy the fresh air and belle views all around. A hundred years later what used to be 'Carmelhiem' is nowadays the centre of Haifa. At the heart of this neighbourhood within a beautiful courtyard stands Villa Carmel; 2 floors with 14... More

I decided to surprise my Girlfriend and take her to surprise birthday in Villa Carmel Boutique. the hotel very luxurious, is not big i think something like 15 rooms, high quality and uncluttered. (most of the people are tourists and not local Israelis) I got a very good recommendation Villa Carmel Boutique and decided to go for it. Already in... More

If you are like me, emphasizing the fact that a hotel is a boutique hotel, esp. doing so in the hotel name itself, brings up my expectations. I expect a small hotel with excellent customer service, very good maintenance of the room and its equipment, and fine dining. Well, dining in Villa Carmel was indeed fine. Really, it was very... Very disappointing, far from what it promises to be. Location is good if you are seeking the upper Carmel neighborhood feeling. Reception staff was a bit snappish. Elevator doors would only open half way on first floor, we never used it again. There are four room types. We were upgraded to a suite which is in fact a large and... More

Small, charming hotel with a european feel. Up high on Mt Carmel, catches the cooler Mediterranean breezes. Great cafes, bars, and restaurants in walking distance. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice restaurant downstairs with an outdoor dining area and delicious fare, especially the Israeli breakfast. Room 11 was large with a small balcony and full size bath. This hotel... More
