I stayed with Erwin and Etha for a week in November and will surely return one day. The Frenkels are everything you want in a host family, the rooms excellent, the views stunning and the breakfasts tasty and varied. My family spent two wonderful nights at the Frenkels. The room was fantastic, the breakfast was the best on our trip with freshly picked fruit and homemade treats. Our hosts were informative, friendly, and really made us feel at home. We strongly recommend any visit to the Golan should include a stay at the Frenkels. More

This is a great place for people touring northern Israel. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Their breakfast is 5 stars!! The rooms are simple and comfortable and I hope to stay there again. More

My wife and I could not have been happier during our stay with the Frenkels. Mr. and Mrs. Frenkel are lovely people who went out of their way to make out stay incredibly comfortable. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet, peaceful area and is great for relaxation. Additionally, all of the facilities were immaculate. More

We were two couples traveling together for two weeks in Israel. We rented a car and drove to the Sea of Galilee for 3 nights, staying at Frenkels B and B. What a find! The first thing that strikes you when you get out of the car is the clean, fresh air filled with the sweet scent of flowering citrus... More

The Frenkels have built a beautiful B&B set in what could only be called a botanical garden. We were there in spring and no matter where you looked flowers bloomed. Except on the back 20 acres, which is planted in olive trees. We sampled homemade olives and oil as part of the sumptuous breakfasts. The room was lovely with a... More

What better review can one give than to say this is the second time you've chosen to stay at a B&B? I stayed with the Frenkels in 2007, with my son and two friends, and we had a great experience. Coming back to Israel in December 2010, I wanted to show off the Galilee I know and love to my... More

I absolutely adored this place! I have never been a big fan of B&B's, but this place has totally changed my opinion. It is located in the hills around the Sea of Galilee, and has a pretty view over the Sea. It is run by Mr and Mrs Frenkel. Mr Frenkel is a retired journalist, and knows just about all... More

Etha and Erwin made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival. Our accommodation consisted of a bedroom and small sitting room, replete with the vista of their beautiful garden and olive grove overlooking the lake of Galilee. Israeli breakfasts are some of the best I know and this was really above the norm. We had salads of several kinds,... More
