My wife and I recently returned from a 3 day stay at the Le Meridien Eilat. We are SPG gold members and generally stay in SPG hotels when we travel. I had mixed feelings going to the Le Meridien based on past reviews on Tripadvisor but gave it a chance because of the great rates for SPG members. Hotel: Is... more

After overnight fly from London to Tel Aviv and short fly from Tel Aviv to Eilat, I entered the hotel in late morning. Outside temperature was over 40 and lobby unsealed from outside, with number of open doors. Reception is located in the big lobby, packed with gangs of uncontrolled toddlers. Noise and screaming are unbelievable. On reception I met... more

The Hotel does not respect SPG or SPG gold!!! , our room mentioned Sea view but had hardly a pool view, the rooms are dirty , carpets smell , reminds me a US motel. The breakfast is like a Zoo , Management enjoys the fact that SPG members preferring Starwood hotels , but not giving back any preferred room. Stay... more

We stayed here for 2, 1-night stays. A gorgeous pool scene, with beautiful views of the gulf of Aqaba. There is a separate kiddie pool. There is no beach, as others have said, but there is access to the water for swimming. Our biggest complaint about the pool was the hours: they close at 5 pm daily, which is pretty... more

Ok, Well the hotel was pretty enough, but NEVER get a room on the near side away from the beach ans especially not the top floor. I am not joking but the small planes fly staright over you waking you up at 6AM and then every hour vrooming right above you. We are talking not more than 50 Metres above... more

We made our reservation here by calling the hotel directly. They were initially pretty clueless and told us we couldn't make a reservation (b/c the reservation person wasn't working...) and we should just show up. After a few phone calls magically someone was able to make the reservation for us. Price was what made this our choice, overall were pretty... more

My family and I were guests at Le Meridien in early July. Eilat was the last leg of 12 days in Israel. I found Israeli hotels to be about a star behind European and US hotels in general but it just didn't bother us. This property is the equivalent of a US 3 star property. The beach is non-existent, but... more

This hotel is barely a 2 star hotel. It claims to have a private beach, but what it really is a less than 2 meter wide rocky shore - NO SAND...We checked in the hotel and waited an hour for them to bring up the luggage after 3 calls it finally arrived. the hallways have no air condition, it must... more
