An alternate source suggested staying here despite my better judgement after reading the ordinary reviews on Trip Advisor. This hotel is huge, you are one of thousands, there is nothing personal about the service or services. The place was fully booked when we stayed mostly by families with small children who run riot in this place. If you want something... more
This hotel is well below standard and they seem to be further cutting corners and is declining. They no longer provide Honors members with a newspaper on Fridays (as they cost about 50c more than other days). The quality of the food is down and at the breakfast (which is like a institution canteen) there is no longer proper fruit juice... more
went on a seminar in this hotel. This seems to be a hotel built with a 5 stars hotel in mind, but opted for a 3 stars services and qulity in order to allow it to host large groups, no luxuray seminars etc.. Be prepared to get your fruit salsd out of a small plastic cap (yap, the sort you... more
Have just returned from a family holiday to Eilat and had a fabulous time. The hotel is a typical 'good' 5 star with all the amenities you would expect. The decor is 'Egyptian Themed' and is very apparent throughout. This is not my taste, but it is not too offensive once you get used to it. We arrived at night... more
staff is superb, food is great, rooms are adequate but need to be refurbished. You can\t ask for a better location. The pool is very nice but bring bug spray as lots of flies. Major problem is that airconditiong is shut off at nightime. Room becomes very stuffy and uncomfortable. You can open the windows but little air comes in... more
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon as it was advertised to be an elegant resort. Upon our first morning we were rudely awakened by construction that began at 8am and did not finish until well past 5pm. This occurred the whole time we stayed at the hotel despite the fact we were ensured the construction... more
We were expecting a quiet getaway, but noisy guests and a persistent yet untalented street saxophonist, made our nights quite nerve wrecking. However, besides the thin walls and windows, the hotel is very nice. The bathroom and bedroom were clean, the breakfast offered a great variety of tasty options, the pool was pleasant, and the staff were helpful. Tip: Avoid... more
We arrived at the hotel and began with a rocky start. There seemed to have been a different reservation on their computer than our confirmation. They said that they wouold work it out. That night, we came back to our room tired from a day packed with great activities, recommended to us by the wounderful hotel staff, to a beutiful... more
My wife and I had a great 3 days at the Hilton. The service (e.g. we arrived early by Jerusalem bus and were allowed to enter room early, we needed a curtain fixed and someone came up immediately) the room and the meals were excellent. There is also a beautiful synagogue on premises and a Rabbi in charge of the... more
