This was our second time in Kelems' cabins, and the experience was (again) great!! The two Kelem Cabins are located in Moshav Faran in the southern Arava desert, just 100 kilometers north to Eilat. An excellent spot for a day trip in the desert- by foot, by car or as we did, with a 4X4 car. Anat & Yuval, the... More

I booked this for final week in January and luckily booked in advance. I spoke with Anat about the accommodation and my plan to propose to my girlfriend and she was extremely helpful. Yuval kindly offered to drive us both to a perfect spot in the desert. When we both arrived Yuval immediately met us and showed us around the... More

We stayed at the beginning of November with our 3 kids in the middle of the week. Yuval (the host) made sure we are enjoying ourselves. It started with the carrot cake (delicious) and then he took the kids to feed his chickens, horse and birds. Later that day he took us to a secret lake only the locals are... More

“I and my family just love the place. We will be coming back in our next vacation in the Israeli desert. Yuval, the owner is very nice guy, he explain us about the agricultural community and demonstrate deep historical and geographical knowledge about the Paran desert. Excellent cottage to relax and feel at peace with excellent services, including jacuzzi in... More

Positives 1. The owner, Yuval, has one of the best attitudes I have ever encountered. You really get the feeling he hosts in order to introduce people to this part of the dessert where few people stop by to enjoy. Nothing is to much trouble for him. It is one of those places you will smile when thinking back of... More

My boyfriend and I spent a night here and what an incredible experience! The village is in the middle of the desert which in and of itself is an incredible experience to get to. The Cabin we were in is very very cool, there's a huge jacuzzi tub right in the middle, large nice bathroom, sitting area, perfect size kitchen.... More

We stayed at Yuval's cabins for the weekend. We got a spotless spacious cabin, with a balcony, kitchen. We ordered a breakfast that was great, with vegetable omlet, fresh baked bread, juice and all kind of cheeses. Yuval the owner is also a farmer so he gave us a tour around the mountains and at his huge green houses, where... More

Our time in the Kelem Wooden Cabins was cozy, serene and utterly comfortable. The lovely bed, spacious jacuzzi, luxurious hot shower and delicious carrot cake that greeted us upon our arrival were unexpected touches. The owners were incredibly helpful in terms of planning our time in the Arava desert. They recommended a particular hike, which ended up being one of... More

We were in the Arava to attend a wedding, and a cousin recommended this place. It's just lovely! The owners have only 2 suites and are very attentive without being intrusive. Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed in a compact space, including a big, round jacuzzi and a very usable kitchen. The cozy upstairs loft is perfect for kids -... More
