What stuck in my memory most were my experiences with reception. First, I had to wait half an hour, because the 2(!) people at reception were chatting with a non-customer of some sort, but eventually charged me 55 shekel per night per person for camping at the shade-less campsite. Next time I was there, I came to ask if there... More

This is the second time we slept at that campsite. At least during winter time, the place was quiet, clean and offered ample space for pitching out large family tent. The camping area offers several shades with electricty outlets (220V) and light. Toilets and showers booths were clean and operational at least during our stays. The campsite is located near... 65 shekels a night camping at the field school was a great option for budget accommodation in Eilat during peak holiday season. The campsite has showers and toilets, which were regularly cleaned, and some shaded places. There is also access to electricity and chilled drinking water, and places to barbecue/make fires. There is a minimarket right nextdoor and you can... More

My wife and I just finished hiking the INT, if you'll read other reviews I wrote you could see that we normally like our lives comfortable, this time we decided to be thru-hikers all the way and once we hit Eilat - sleep at a campsite (inside a room though, we had enough nights in our tent...) The guy was... More

This is a field school facility. It's like a hostel. Know what you're getting into before you book. Don't expect fancy because this is not fancy. Now, what you WILL get is a clean place to lay your head along with five of your friends. It was a little weird, but there are three bunk beds in the room so... More

Me and my husband have stayed here a year ago in May, during national holidays, and this May 2013 as well. What we like the best about the place - it is a good alternative for budget travelers and the location is perfect. I personally don't like crowded area of central Eilat, and the sea is much more beautiful in... More

Although only a few minutes out of Eilat on the road to the border of Egypt and Taba. This is a field school and although they have a camp site they do not cater for campers. NO CARS OR MOTORCYCLES ARE ALLOWED IN THE CAMP SITE. That means your car or motorcycle must stay outside the campsite. Their personnel are... More

The SPNI Field School is slightly out of Eilat on the way to the Taba border crossing. We've camped there before but this time decided to take a room. The room was very basic but clean and equipped with aircon, en-suite shower, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. We left before breakfast every morning but they supplied a take-out breakfast for... More
