Set in the dead sea region surrounded by beautiful mountains and stunning scenery...right below Massada. reasonable drive from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. The Guest house is nicely designed and caters to families and youth groups. The place was clean and the food was ok. The prices are reasonable. There is a nice outdoor pool. There are unlimited areas to tour... More

due to low tourism right now, I wound up getting my own room (2 beds so no partner). the AC was powerful, there was a TV in the room and the personal shower worked perfectly. the receptionist was very nice and allowed me to check out at 6:30 at night for no extra charge as I was waiting for a... Quite expensive (120$ for a double room), in a desert. No option for diner but their quite sad buffet (55 shekels per person) Breakfast made of cherry tomatoes, scrambled egg and bad coffee Lot of young people, making noise in front of the room at 7am Air conditioning controled by the hostel, you can't lower the temperature Nothing in the... If you are climbing massada, this place is right beside the entrance of the Snake Path. It's more of a hotel than hostel. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing for such a low price. After the climb you are rewarded with a giant buffet israeli breakfast. The room was spotless, had free wifi, and knowledgable staff about massada. Also good to... More

Good value compared to other hotels we stayed in and it was clean with an army of cleaners. We had the half board option and for the money it was fine. This hotel as I would call it is really only a place to stay in for one night to visit Massada but we left happy

The location is excellent for hiking to Massada but in general it´s not a really good location. There´s nothing to do and like a point to Dead Sea it´s also not so good. If we knew it, we would sleep there just one night for visiting Massada. We really liked breakfast and dinner there, wide choice of food. There´s also... More

This is not a hostel! This place is as comfortable as a hotel, the only difference is that there are several beds in the rooms. The location in the desert provides you an amazing landscape views, the Massada visitor center is couple of steps from the hostel. Breakfast and dinner are very good. They even have a swimming pool which... More

This hotel was comfortable and was very nice for a youth hostel. However i have to take one star off due to the fact our shower wasn't clean, there was hair in the bottom of the shower and stuck in the drain from previous guests. I had a good nights rest once all the school kids stopped playing their loud... More

The Massada Guest House is located at the foot of Massada, overlooking the Dead Sea and with views of the marlstones. The place is just you would expect from youth hostel in Israel. The room spacious and clean, bathroom as well. Breakfast ok but nothing special. The staff friendly, Wi- fi in the room. As it was March the swimming pool was... More

We had booked for two nights, but ended up there a third night due to a flood which closed the roads out of Masada. The staff was wonderful, especially Sarit who called our next hotel to explain the situation. The food was delicious and plentiful and on Friday evening, tables were set with cloths and cloth napkins, especially for Shabbat.... More
