Spent two night in this this Hospice, and found it just as good as the first time. Our room was a good size, and very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very helpful. It couldn't be more convenient for Manger Square, and food and drink are available at its sister hotel, the Casanova Palace, just next door.My... More

The Casa Nova stands next to the Basilica on the edge of Manger Square. Simple but adequate accommodation and good service . The food is generally of a good quality.and the accommodation clean, The rooms overlook the old town of Nazareth and one can watch modern day shepherds tending their sheep as has been done for millenia,

The location of this hostel couldn't be better as it is adjacent to the Church of the Nativity but the bedroom was really not good. Shabby, with twin beds that were rock hard, poor lighting and décor that was grubby and well past its sell by date. The bathroom was adequate for a two night stay but only just.

RIGHT next to the Church of the Nativity, this Catholic pilgrims' hostel is open to the non-religious like myself, and offers private ensuite rooms (heated in winter) at a very reasonable rate. This was the best value accommodation during my entire stay in the Holy Land.

Definitely stay here if you have the chance - it's where the pope stays, and you can't get a higher recommendation. It's not fancy, but its perfectly comfortable and friendly. The rooms are fine, all I think en suite and with a pretty amazing view over the city. The food is ok - breakfast is plentiful, dinner is one good... More

Stayed there for 3 days with a group in March 2012. Our room on the 2nd floor looked a bit dated - nothing more serious than the colour & style of furnishings - but it was a good size, clean and the bathroom was gleaming. A bit chilly at first, the room heater soon warmed it up. Large buffet breakfast.... More

We had lunch here as a group one day during a tour. There were several groups there at the same time and it was a bit chaotic to start with. However, the food in the end was good (we all had the same thing) and there was plenty of it, with good coffee at the end.

Very basic, no frills hotel but it was clean, warm, had free wifi and was right on Manger Square. My room had a lovely view of Bethlehem. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Other colleagues at the hotel were woken up by the call to prayer at 5am but I slept right through it!

We stayed at the Casa Nova Hospice Bethlehem in September with a pilgrimage group. The hotel is situated - part of the Church of the Holy Nativity where Jesus is said to have been born. It is very close to the central of Bethleham and the square opposite offers local places to eat and drink. The people in the bars... More
