The hotel itself look pretty good but the rooms are crapy the service is pretty bad and there were a lot of missing essentials , for the food there isnt a good viriety, the hot water isnt running all the time , same as the air conditioner , the rooms arent very clean specially the beds and the most important... This hotel seems to be the choice for groups of pilgrims visiting the Holy Land and this is all the hotel seem to care about. I stayed with my family and apart from one waiter all other staff are unprofessional and have a couldn't care less attitude. The reception is deceiving as looks quite nice, but the rooms were tatty... More

I have stayed in the hotel in 2010. It is very decent 3 star property with all basic amenities. The rooms was very clean with adequate space. The breakfast was also very good with all continental stuff. The beautiful lobby I have seen in 3 star category hotel in Bethlehem is in this property. Outside is also very quiet with... More

Recently returned from leading a pilgrim group which included five nights at the Sancta Maria Hotel. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Accommodation and food very good for this grade of hotel although as a vegetarian, the occasional non-meat meal would have been welcome. Would recommend a more eco-friendly approach to changing towels everyday i.e.... More

We stayed in Sancta Maria for a total of 3 nights with our tour group in October 2012. It is an average type of family-run hotel. I noticed that they were under staffed; where only one person manning the front desk when they knew that 70+ persons were coming. Two elderly porters were there to carry the luggage for 3... More

Disappointed that we are not able to stayed in this hotel due to the renovation going on on the time we visit Bethlehem instead we went to the alternative hotel known as Good Shepherd Hotel which I could say a relatively good hotel with nice food and very helpful staff. We arrived very late at night and we had a... More

We went to the holy city for about 4 days, the Hotel is in average condition (even though the Owner told me it is about 6 years old). The lobby and restaurant are in good condition having also free internet & nice furniture, it is very clean as well. Now going to the stair case and rooms, you may find... More

We did 2 differnet stays at this hotel with a tour. The first stay the toilette didn't and they kind of fixed it. The food was really good. A very wide variety of food. The second stay we had a very nice room and shower. The food once again was very good and a wide variety.

Being a simple person who doesn’t seek much luxury, I liked staying at Sancta Maria Hotel while I was at Bethlehem. This hotel is quite famous. Most people of this town know this place. The room was clean and comfortable with a good bed and basic furnishing. An oil filled radiator heated the room. It kept warm throughout the night.... More
