The Nazar Hotel is a simple boutique hotel centrally located in Selcuk. The hotel was walking distance to Basilica of St John, Temple of Artemis, Ayasuluk Fortress, and a central tourist area full of restaurants and handicraft stores. Ilker and Selma Sen operated the Nazar with true hospitality. It was just like coming home to family after a long day... More

I visited Turkey for the first time the last couple weeks. I booked Hotel Nazar a couple months prior to the trip. After booking I emailed him several times for advice and information and he was extremely helpful and quick to respond. He set us up with a transfer between Izmir, a guide for Ephesus, and gave us advice on... More

We stayed at Hotel Nazar for 2 nights to visit Ephesus and really liked it. It's great value but the staff were also very welcoming and helpful which turned a good stay into a brilliant one. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and helped us with ideas of where to visit and also did laundry for us very quickly... More

We travel a lot and we tend to stay in smaller boutique or B&B establishments that are owner operated. Apart from the obvious benefit to the local economy, it provides a quick and easy introduction to local culture and customs as well as personal interactions. The downside usually is that no matter how hard they try, small concerns usually do... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a really nice experience. Ilker was very fast in replying email, answer all questions with a reliable answer. They provide a shuttle from Selçuk tourism center and they also dropped us in the train station. They also have a cute little dog for you to play with. Location is nice in the... More

We stayed for 4 nights with 2 kids and loved Nazar Hotel. Ilker (and family) are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic but comfortable, great air conditioning and good value. The pool is great with a nice courtyard. Breakfasts are good also. Ilker recommended restaurants, set us up with a great private guide for Ephesus and helped... More

We have just returned from a great four night stay at the Nazar Hotel which we would highly recommend. Situated in a suburban street just 5 minutes walk from the town centre, this charming family run hotel is very welcoming with a delightful walled terrace and pool. Our room was simply furnished, very clean and with a good view of... More

This is not a posh boutique hotel with tons of amenities. We give it 5 stars for the bang for your buck factor. We rented a suite for 4 people with a shared bathroom for a very reasonable price. The location is very close to the Ephesus Museum and an easy walk to most of the downtown restaurants. The decor... More

I traveled with another friend to Selcuk and chose this hotel based on the many positive reviews from this site. I was not disappointed. Given the fact that I desperately needed a vacation, Ilker's personality and jokes were most welcome. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful even to the point of helping us plan activities in Cappadocia. Upon arrival by... More
