Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. Unfortunately, the owner was away for the duration of our stay in hospital. Regardless, he organised for his father (who despite not speaking much English was a lovely man) and a friend who did speak English to come pick us up from the airport. His friend then proceeded to organise a tour of... More

Ilker and Elise literally saved our trip from ruin by going above and beyond! We had rented a one-way from Izmir and drove down to Selcuk. 30 minutes into the journey, the GPS gave out and the car rental place refused to do anything about it (thanks again for that, Avis!) We somehow made it to Hotel Nazar by asking... More

The hotel owner is extremely helpful and oriented us to the town, must see attractions, and even helped us get medication when one of our friends got sick. For the price we paid, the hotel is of great value. We originally booked a family room for 4 people (2 couples) but since it was low season, he gave us an... More

This hotel is at a good location and owner speaks fluent English, so you will have no issues in asking questions and planning your trip while you are there, breakfast is OK, not that great, the service is excellent, the owner is so kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. The town is small but is near to pamukkale and... More

Frankly, we didn't think the hotel was that great. The location is wonderful but our room was damp, somewhat smelly, and overpriced. Breakfast was so-so. However, Ilker is an amazing host:he gave us excellent advice, helped out with transport and car rental, and went well beyond any job description in making our stay in Selcuk a good one. We really... We stayed here with another couple, sharing a room which is actually 2 bedrooms, sharing a bathroom. Clean, very comfortable (with absolutely beautiful blankets:), good a/c....no complaints at all! This is a family run, very friendly place. We got some great instructions and suggestions about the area and no question from us was too much for them. We loved starting our... More

This hotel is great, the service is excellent, and the ambience is very familiar, the owner is so kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. The town are little but is near to pamukkale and Ephesus, that`s why we choose it. The best Hotel in Selcuk!!

If you prefer a small and stylish boutique hotel as opposed to a four or five star chain hotel, stay at Nazar. The interior and the rooms are simple but elegant and the ambiance relaxed and very warm and friendly. Breakfast was a traditional Turkish one but everything was very fresh and really tasty. The owners, Ilker and his wife,... More

If you want American-style grandeur and and luxury, this hotel (and, maybe Turkey??) is not for you. If you value cleanliness, great location, incredible hospitality, beautiful rooftop dining, you'll be happy. After 3 days with Ilker and co., we felt like we were leaving family who went out of their way to make our visit to their house a pleasure

Firstly keep in mind this hotel is not meant to be a 5 or even a 4 star hotel. Its a good and affordable hotel with beautiful decorations and a pleasant owner. The room was acceptable but i think the TV should be updated. The location may put off some people (little bit run down neighborhood) but I think that... More
