I needed a place to "get away" for a few days, and ANZ was perfect. Selcuk is a great little city, and the views from the hostel of the surrounding countryside are amazing. There are a lot of good places to eat, and the walk to Ephesus doesn't take long. I had a private room with AC that fit my... More

We were at ANZ guesthouse for 1 night (just to see Ephesus and continue with our road trip). We stayed at a double room with insuit bathroom and it costs 37€. The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and very attentive. The room was very basic and there was much clarity when sun get out. Very basic bathroom. Nice breakfast at... More

Our hosts Simon and Harry were nothing but helpful and kind. They both work incredibly hard and willing assistance at any time. It's a block from the Seluck bus station and another block to the Temple of Artemis (seventh wonder of the ancient world). In fact from the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served you can see the lone column... More

I recently spent a very pleasant night in a double room and found the staff (Simon in particular) very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean, breakfast decent, view from the rooftop pleasant, and location very convenient. It's away from the main road, yet close enough to the bus station and castle. Obviously, it's not a high end facility... More

I stayed at ANZ for 3 nights. The rooms are just as described and the price matches what you get. My stay was great mostly because Harry and Simon were so helpful. I had Simon book a last minute tour for me and cancel it all in the same morning - and he was very accommodating and helpful when I... More

ANZ Guesthouse was meant to be a one night stay for us, to visit the archaeological site. We ended up staying three nights, just as Harry (the owner) predicted. On the second night we had a wonderful BBQ hosted by Harry and is wife, which meant that we didn't have to worry about dinner. We were a group of four... More

This hostel is very good, it's not too far from the bus station, breakfast is good, owner is very nice and so is most of staff. Rooms are great, clean, with good beds and very nice bathrooms and a rooftop to chill out. For some reason you cannot use the fridge and kitchen there. However, i have to say that... More

We stayed two nights in this comfortable guesthouse. Bright and clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely, served on the roof terrace. Very peaceful, but then we were there in the winter - an oasis in a busy city. Bed was comfortable and the showers were hot hot hot! Very close to Ephesus - can walk, or borrow a bicycle... More

We stayed in a triple room. Though a bit small, the room was of good quality. The management is friendly and helpfull. You can take a drink from the fridge and put the money in a box. The roof is an excellent place to sit and relax with a book and a beer The morning view with sight at the... More

Not good, not bad. Rooms are not pretty but you can see the pictures. Bed was okay as far as comfort but pretty standard for a hostel. Bathrooms are small as expected, but definitely need some cleaning. (Hair in the drain, showerhead sprays water in every direction). I agree with the other review about the bell that sounds each time... More
