We stopped over at Selcuk for a day, because we wanted to visit Ephesus. We took a train from the Izmir airport to Selcuk. After reaching Selcuk, we couldn't find the hotel. We called the hotel and they gave us directions and the next thing you know, the owner of the hotel, Erdal is in his car to pick us... More

This is a beautifully positioned hotel within easy reach to the best restaurants and sites. The hotel is family run and the front of house is managed by Erdal. Erdal goes out of his way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one taking time to sip tea upon arrival to discuss your plans and logistics. He does this simply... More

I spent three nights at this charming, comfortable hotel in October 2015. The room was immaculate and exquisitely decorated, with beautiful carpets, pictures and wall hangings. The lush, Turkish towels were folded into animal shapes and the hotel supplies very nice shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. After I unpacked I met with Erdal on the terrace for tea and descriptions... More

The location of the hotel is wonderful, since the St. John's Basilica is just across the road. The fort, which is the other nearby attraction is just a bit ahead and make for wonderful walk. Selcuk is a small place, but the fact that the museum (which is worth a visit), shops & restaurants, the Dolmus depot (local bus stand)... More

We had gone with family during the bayram period in Spetember 2015. The owners responded well with all my queries. I had initially inquired about their other hotel Nilya but Bella was available. There are a few information that is not right for a guest. 1st they claim check in is from 7 30 am. However, check out is 11... More

Hotel Bella is very conveniently located. Train station, bus station, many restaurants and shops, ATM are all around the hotel and within a short walking distance. St John Basilica is just across the hotel. Hotel provides a free transport to and fro Ephesus city and you can borrow a book with details about Ephesus from them. This is a very... More

Everything about this hotel was great. Comfortable rooms, amazing location with view of the ruins right out your window. Beautiful roof top patio for relaxing, viewing the city, having a glass of wine or a meal. Wonderful breakfast. The staff really stood out, though. Incredibly helpful and friendly. The owner literally escorted us all around town to the main attractions... More

Beware the upsell for tours. Some of the business owners across the street seem very jealous of the family that owns this hotel and another property. I love the free drop off and pick up from Ephesus. You can also walk to the Temple of Artemis and other sites. Also do a half day trip to Sirince with public transportation;... More

We spent three nights at Hotel Bella and it was a fun and relaxing time. The rooms are not large but are artfully decorated and very clean. Rooms in the front may be loud if you keep the windows open but are air conditioned. The rooftop terace restaurant is wonderful and the food is terrific and not overpriced. The staff... More

Met all expectations. Walking distance from train station and center of town. Also short walk (3 min) to St. John, Isa Bey Mosque & fortress. Views of the above too & storks nests. Lovely breakfast with eggs offered and can eat dinner here too. The entire hotel is decorated impeccably.
