what a beautiful boutique hotel in Selcuk. We walked there from the bus station, very short walk. It is on a side street right beside the castle. Also, across the street is the pedestrian zone full of restaurants and shops. The staff, Nazmi, Erdal and Lianne were welcoming and fantastic. Erdal took the time to sit down with us and... More

Was greeted by a nice receptionist who gave us a brief introduction about Selcuk. Also got on the free shuttle to Ephesus. Hotel had great interior deco. As we were a family of 4, we were given a room with a private balcony that overlooks the castle. However, the staff at rooftop restaurant wasn't very welcoming towards greeting our family... More

The hotel is right in the middle of Selcuk, so provides a good base for sightseeing - indeed they provide a free shuttlebus service to the ruins of Ephesus, which drops you off and then collects you three hours later. The room was on the small side, but was pleasant and tastefully furnished in a traditional Turkish style. I have... More

My wife and I have been travelling around Turkey for over a month and have been graciously hosted in hotels and pensions everywhere. The Hotel Bella was the exception. To begin with it felt like we were staying in a rug shop because as soon as the owner realized that we were not going to buy a rug from him... More

The terrace is a real deal-breaker. You can sit here as long as you want, north facing, in the shade with cooling breezes and the tea is gratis. I agree that the rooms are small and with no room to sit but, with this terrace, that was fine for us. The hotel has lots of character with traditional and contemporary... More

My spouse and I and two close friends booked rooms at this highly rated hotel in Selcuk in order to visit the nearby site of Ephesus. We found the location to be fine, but little else. The rooms were minute. There were no places to put luggage, which we placed on the floor in the already cramped space. The beds... More

Selcuk is a gorgeous little town near Efes (Ephesus). I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and Erdal, was informative and planned a wonderful afternoon for me on my first day, visiting Sirince a small and beautiful town nearby, where I walked cobbled streets, tasted local wine and bought lovely gifts to take home. In the evening I... More

We are Australian. We booked Bella through an agent in Istanbul and arrived towards 11 pm after a long bus drive down the coast from Gallipoli. We had no firm plans beyond having a look at Ephesus. There to greet us at the front desk was former Kiwi, Leeanne. She suggested a beer and some sleep and we could discuss... More

We stayed here two nights to visit Ephesus. Got a room overlooking St John's Basilica and the storks that nest in the street lights. Good location close to town center, where the street market was. The owner gave us a free shuttle ride to Ephesus. Breakfasts was good, although the meal was not a buffet service. We had a good... More

Room just too small, no chair , no coffee or tea . One night table , nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. Owners own a carpet and ceramic store and a bit pushy to buy there . Terrasse is great on roof top and lady manager very nice . Price and location is good
