You won't be disappointed with the the location, management (the brother's were always smiling and helpful), view from the terrace and general happy-go-lucky atmosphere of the hotel. Our room was a bit "tired" looking a slightly dusty, I think this was one of the unrenovated rooms as the others (we took a peak at a few) didn't appear this way.... More

You can't beat the location of Urkmez Hotel. It's right in the center of Selcuk's quaint downtown and has plenty of access to nearby parking. It runs along a street that is mostly pedestrian, except for a few scooters and delivery trucks pattering by. Cüneyt (Juju) and Jimmy were absolute perfect hosts, always ready to offer their assistance and making... More

The Urkmez gives great value for money, and Cem is a great host. We visited for a few nights with our 2yo child, and were treated like old friends. The location is perfect (nearly in the centre of the tourist district of Selcuk, within 2 minutes of dozens of restaurants), and the view from the rooftop terrace is sublime. The... More

My partner and I stayed at Urkmez Hotel for two nights on a friend's recommendation. We took the train from Izmir airport to Selcuk train station (one of the funniest train rides we've ever taken) and Urkmez is just a minute away from the train station. The owners Jimmi and Juju are the loveliest people. The rooms are good value... More

My father and I stayed in this hotel in June for 2 night. Jimmi and Juju are wonderful hosts. The rooms are clean and the water hot ! the air con was a much needed reprieve from the heat. I must say a special thanks for our hosts as my father fell ill during our stay. Jimmi was kind enough... More

My family loved the Urkmez Hotel! Jimmy and Juju are outstanding hosts and run one of the best hotels we have stayed at anywhere! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were firm, the breakfasts awesome and the service and hospitality were beyond compare. We can't wait to go back!
