We really enjoyed this little "boutique" hotel including large full breakfasts and offering an excellent homemade dinner, all in the best Turkish style. Meals are served in an intimate terrace room with an open wall. It's quite easy meeting your fellow travelers if you so desire. The room was adequate and very brightly decorated with local fabrics and crafts. The... More

The rooms are clean and well maintained, but he owners are the real stars here. They are so warm and funny, and make everyone feel included. The food is the best I had in Turkey and they were very accommodating to my vegetarian needs. They made us feel like long lost family! They even packed us a little lunch for... More

My friend and I arrived in Selcuk from Istanbul by way of a flight and a train ride. Needless to say, we were both sleep-deprived, exhausted, and famished. However, we were only staying in Selcuk for one night before heading out to Athens, Greece bright and early the next morning. After showing us to our room, Saziye quickly set about... More

The hotel is very well located. Family owned, a couple who really make an effort to help you. Rooms are very well decorated, extremely cozy and good air conditioned. A roof terrace where great food is servec. Breakfast is included in the rate, too tasty and quite generous. Also dinner is served at a very good price. A must go... More

Homeros lives up to all the great reviews. Saziye and the entire staff will definitely make you feel welcomed. Delicious Turkish breakfast presented in a beautifully decorated room. Only stayed for 2 nights and wished I stayed longer.

I stayed two nights at Homeros Pension on the recommendation of a friend and was so glad I did! The rooms are all beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The family who run the pension are so warm and friendly, and really made us feel welcome. The rooftop terrace is an amazing place to watch the sunset with a few beers... More

Absolutely loved Homeros, the host Dervis and his amazing collections! So much hospitality in a fantastic setting, like having an overnight lock-in at a museum. The interiors are a pastiche of artifacts, souvenirs and textiles and are artfully arranged to perfection. The walls are covered in Turkish Jewelry, mirrors and fantastic antique photos. The interiors are somewhere between Victoriana and... More

Gorgeous decor (antique-eclectic-colorful) , good food at good rates, comfortable and quiet room, great base location for Ephesus & Aegean touring, but what really makes the Homeros special is the cheerful personal attention from Saziye & Dervish, the hosts. In the time we were there, Saziye helped a lot of people with train & bus connections, touring strategies, & generally... More

We stayed here one night in April, 2015. This is definitely NOT the best place in Selcuk (my second time in the town and our other hotel was better). Let's start out with the good. Excellent breakfasts: not the usual buffet breakfast but a filling meal beautifully presented on several plates. I would rate the breakfast as the best we... More

This is the sweetest, most charming guesthouse, and likely the BEST place to stay in Selcuk! Dervish and Shaziya, the owners, made me feel very welcome and well-taken-care-of, which was especially important to me traveling as a solo woman in Turkey. The dinners and breakfasts were hearty and delicious (cooked by the owners and their Mama)! The decor is quaint... More
