This pension is comfortable and lovely, and Dervish's family does everything possible to create a great atmosphere. The meals and view from the terrace were some of the best parts of our stay in Selcuk. Definitely stay here!

As soon as I walked through the door, I was home. Dervish and everyone who worked here were some of the kindest people I met in Turkey - always open to having a conversation and ready to help you find the best way to see all the sights. Dinner and breakfast were great - Dervish's sister cooks delicious food and... More

I felt like I knew Dervis before we had even met! From booking the room to promptly answering all of my email questions, he was incredibly helpful and provided us with great information that made our first visit to Turkey go smoothly. When we arrived, Saziye greeted us warmly, showed us to our comfortable and cozy room, and told us... More

Homero's is just delightful - I loved everything so much I stayed there twice! * the family atmosphere makes Homero's a super friendly "home away from home" (Dervis, Saziye, Barbora & co were amazing - such fun, enthusiastic people and so welcoming!). As a solo traveller I really appreciated their kindness. * the rooms are really funky and unique -... More

Saziye welcomed in the morning and gave me some fruits and a cup of apple tea as welcoming drink and food. This was so nice for a person who just took 2 flights and 1 bus ride for a total of 17 hours travel. My room was tiny but comfy. The staff cleaned it every day. Great location. Helpful staff.... I love everything. I do mean what I wrote. The room is really beautiful. The Dervis family is really good. They offered the best Turkish dishes I have ever tried. I really enjoyed my talk with everyone. We talked for hours exchanging views of my experience in Turkey and their experience in Thailand. They made Selcuk my favorite town in... More

I had a lovely stay at Homeros. Their service was beyond helpful - helped me arrange onward transport, gave me recommendations about a free bus service to the airport, and were overall as hepful as they possibly could be. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable - great value for the price. And, they offer an optional dinner which... More

Saziye and her brother Dervis run a beautifully furnished guesthouse in Selcuk, which transports you on a magic carpet back in time to ancient Persia. The warmth of the welcome is sincere, the atmosphere between guests and hosts is lovely, the food is delicious and healthy, the position perfect for visiting Ephesus and St. John's (He of the gospel), and... Dervis and Saziye were friendly and the accommodations were comfortable and well worth the price. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace and getting to know the other guests. It was within walking distance of the ruins at Ephesus, the St. John Basilica, and the Temple of Artemis. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

When I booked this hotel for 3 nights, it was the pictures of the rooms that drew me in! We weren't disappointed when we arrived. Homeros has 2 houses across a narrow street from each other, connected by a trellis of grape vines. It creates a really charming environment. Derviş has decorated the guest rooms and sitting areas with unique... More
