I had a fine 3-day stay here. I had reserved online and, when I walked to Homeros after an all-day bus ride, Saziye greeted me by name from the balcony and showed me my room. I was just in time for delicious multi-course dinner on 3rd floor terrace. Rooms and hallways are decorated with photos, artifacts, etc. After free breakfast... More

Arrived late by bus with no reservations. Two "older" women. Found this hotel with help from someone in bus office. Dervis swooped down on us, gathered us up in his car, and rushed us to his warm and charming pension. OMIGOSH, the room was decorated! Turkey, we have arrived! Great breakfasts and dinner with everyone chatting and friendly from table... More

I think this one of the friendliest places we've ever stayed, starting with a very cheerful welcome from Şaziye, who runs the place very efficiently with her brother Derviş. As others have said, the rooms are quirky, but comfortable, spotless and good value. The Turkish breakfast is substantial and tasty, and if you go for the evening meal (only TL20)... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Homeros Pension & Guesthouse. One night was not enough! This place is absolutely amazing. The owner Dervis is quite the character and is such a wonderful host. They make you feel like family and will keep you laughing. The food is great and the rooms are uniquely decorated. The bed is very comfortable... More

Wonderfully warm ambience and welcome. Meals first class and (evening) great value. Owner instantly came to the rescue when our holiday could have been marred by a puncture. A genuine "home from home".

Dervis and Saziye run a lovely establishment. You want to be sure to have a typically-extravagant Turkish meal in the restaurant up above, and make sure to visit their rooftop terrace, which offers a stunning view of Selcuk. I hope to see them again soon!

We arrived in the late evening and were greeted by Dervis at the doorstep. After ushering us to our rooms, we were invited to home-cooked dinner at the roof terrace. The delicious dinner was prepared in local tradition and the price was fair. We booked two double bed rooms. The rooms are delightfully decorated and very clean. Wifi worked fine... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Homeros Pension & Guesthouse in September 2014 for 2 nights. We had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities are nice and have a hippy-type vibe, with lots of nick-knacks and mismatching furniture. We left early on our last day and found a breakfast box at our front door which was... More

Dervis and family were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We felt like we were house guests in their home. Great location, we walked from the train station, though a bit uphill. We enjoyed our dinner and the variety of Turkish dishes we were served. Conversation with guests and family ensued and we learned a lot about the culture. Our room... More

Wonderful hostess, lovely quirky rooms, great location, yummy breakfast spread. Very responsive owner and no issues with communication in English. Would highly recommend staying here while in Selcuk. Close to the train and bus station, easy access to Izmir.
