We stayed for 2 nights at Homeros in January 2012. After arriving on a night bus from Istanbul early in the morning, they were kind enough to give us a place to crash until we could check into the room that we had reserved. This place was a good fit for us, as we wanted a chill place close to... More

Homeros Pension hums with efficient hospitality under the family management of Dervis, his mom and sister. Rooms are decorated to the hilt with Turkish rugs and objets. Bathrooms and breakfast are above average for budget lodgings; dinner’s also available. A friendly mix of guests. All in all, a fine base for a visit to the Ephesus ruins. More

The entire family at Homeros were so welcoming! From the minute we arrived we were brought into the cozy dining room for tea and our room was ready so they let us check in at 7:30am (a huge relief since we'd just come off an overnight bus). The dinner they served was one of our best meals in Turkey. Wish... More

My four nights turned into SIX! Dervis and Sheziyeh make you part of their family and provide a warm and friendly environment. Their knowledge of the area is priceless when seeking help with how to maneuver around this beautiful land. I was reminded of a well-run caravanserai...a wonderful refuge after a day of exploration. Most enjoyable too were the friendly... More

Very friendly owner/manager, great breakfast, possibility to dine there too for a reasonable price. At small walking distance of museum, Isabey Camii, Artemision, St John's Basilica and old town. More

This place is great. The location is fantastic, the service is friendly and welcoming and the rooms put them a little beyond the ordinary and the boring. During a winter trip in Turkey, I'd say that Homeros was the place that had the most social, communal feel during my trip - they were still able to draw a crowd in... More

The pension owner started our visit by telling us that we are no longer tourists, but members of the family. It seemed funny at first but it turned out to seem true. We loved our stay here. Dervis helped us to hook up tours and find our way around. We made friends with our tour guide and got awesome deals... More

We were travelling around Turkey and we decided to stop in Selcuk to visit Ephesus. It was a really good idea booking at Homero's: we had a confortable well located and warm room, home made dinner and a glass of wine in the top terrace!. We also got free bicycles (useful to go to Ephesus) free internet accese and, above... More

My sister and I were travelling with our parents around Turkey last Christmas and found the Homeros Pension the most accommodating and charming lodgings we had in the entire trip. Rooms were warm and homely. Breakfast was delicious and huge as was the optional dinner that was definitely worth staying in that evening! We'd love to come back! More
