We were only supposed to stay for a few hours in Selcuk to see Ephesus then go to Denizli but our train in Izmir arrived a little late so we decided to just stay the night in Homeros. Best decision we ever had! We found the place thru Lonely Planet and it was by far our best hotel we've been... More

I had a wonderful stay at Homeros Pension with my partner for 3 nights. A tasty Turkish breakfast was included in the price. Delicious, nutricious home cooked Turkish meals were available in the evening. The rooms were beautiful with unique decor and immaculately clean (and cleaned each day during our stay). Incredible hospitality - warm, kind and helpful. Dervis has... More

We stayed there for one night on our visit to Ephesus. The owners are really friendly and they make every effort for the guests to feel at home. The breakfast is very good and dinner (optional) is excellent. Wine on the roof terrace completes the meal.

Homeros gets the basics right - warm, friendly hospitality that makes you feel at home; home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner; clean, comfortable rooms and a convenient location. Eat at least one dinner here - it's the closest to home-cooked Turkish food you will get outside a home, with plenty of vegetarian options. The rooftop has good views of the... More

Homeros is such a pleasant little guesthouse. The owner, Dervis is very welcoming and full of great energy and the place exudes a family friendly/homey vibe. Every morning, Dervis greeted us with a warm smile and plateful of delicious fruits, veggies and a boiled egg. The breakfast is plated so beautifully too and you feel great after eating a delicious... More

Just recently I stayed with my friend in Homeros Pension in Selcuk. The house is furnished in a traditional Turkish style with many cultural artefacts and beautiful embroideries. The rooms are good size, clean and sunny. During our stay we felt welcomed. The whole family is involved in the business: Saziye took care of all day-to-day tasks, mum (the matriarch... More

I loved this place: so much charm and character. The decor reproduces the atmosphere of an old-fashioned Ottoman house. We could have spent hours examining all the details of the furnishings. Dervis and Saziye couldn't have been friendlier.
