This is a basic hotel where a few simple changes could lift it to a very good hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent being in the centre of town and close to numerous restaurants. We were greeted on arrival by the owner, Mr. Mehmet. This is a family run hotel with the owners wife acting as part-time receptionist... More

I love to stay here. My room got no Airconditioning, as I booked for a dorm for one night stay only. but i definitely dont mind. even in mid August 2013, where summer heat strikes everywhere, this humble place is cool and very laidback. The staff dont speak much english, other than the owner, Mr. Mehmet who is a charmer,... More

Meanwhile this hotel's name is "Wallabies Victoria Hotel". We booked a deluxe room for four nights. Unfortunately the room didn't fullfil our humble requirements. The deluxe room was small. No cupboard. No pegs to hang clothes. AC was present but not working. The double bed was hard to sleep in. Out of bed's head side, where you would expect bedside... More

My 3 children, wife and I, enjoy staying 3 nights at room 201, 204 in Jan 2013. Cheap price, reasonable for the room and bathroom quality, clean (not luxurious but enjoyable). Breakfast is included (good enough bread, boiled egg, salad). However minor things like door lock of bath room need to be repaired. Booking made without any deposit payment (booked... More

This hotel is now called Wallabies Victoria. It is very old and dillapidated. Room was very basic and old but reasonably clean. Owner was friendly but very pushy in selling you all kinds of things such as dinner in the hotel. To be fair, the dinner was worth it. However, he tried all kinds of tricks to make you order... More

We arrived at the Wallabies Hotel after an exhausting Anzac Day and what a relief! We were pıcked up from the bus station at an ungodly hour and welcomed by all the family. The owners carried our very heavy packs up to our room and insisted we sleep and sort out all the admin stuff in the morning. After a... More

The Victoria Hotel, under new management as Wallabies Hotel is a great value. The hotel is in the center of town but has a very nice friendly staff. The couple who are managing the hotel are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great. The hotel has an elevator that was always working, however, for us North American's, we have to remember...
