Nice place to relax, good orange juice for 6lira, lovely pool, good wifi. Rooms over the pool are nicer area and surroundigs but more expensive, depends on your budget. Will pay for taxi to collect you from bus station if you get someone to call them and say you've arrived.

We arrived at Selcuk at midnight, after missing our connection in Istanbul, due to the late arrival of Emirates from Dubai (but that's another story!) We rang Akay and the person who answered found an Eg speaker so we could tell her of our ETA. At Izmir ours was the last flight in, so the staff was very thin. Our... More

After a tortuous flight(s) we arrived at midnight - having phoned to confirm we were still coming - and were escorted to a room with big comfy beds, aircon that worked and a bathroom with lots of hot water! Bliss! Breakfast was a feast and the views from the terrace amazing - the castle, Isa Bey mosque and views across... More

We stayed in the "economic" ground floor room, only 80 tl ($32 US) for ac, a nice pool, and great breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and there was a sweet dog to play with on the garden patio. This hotel is close to the mosque, St John's cathedral, and has a rooftop view of sunsets and the Turkish countryside.

One of the best we had our entire vacation. Clean rooms, wonderful outdoor pool, and the nicest front desk staff you will ever meet. The wife of the owner is a native English speaker, and was totally lovely and helpful. She knew everything we needed to know about transport to/from Ephesus nearby, and was happy to answer all our questions.... More

The hotel provides a clean and comfortable room with private facilities and small balcony. The bed was excellent and a good night's rest attainable. The hotel reception is most professional and speaks good English - very welcoming! The basic breakfast is a buffet style, a most suitable way to serve and adequate given the price. The hotel swimming pool would... More

This is my most memorable stay of the 2 weeks. This hotel had a very hospitable environment, right next to Johns Castle and so much more. Everyone in Selchuk was nice beyond nice. The staff at the hotel Mustafa and Metin became friends as did the owners puppy and son. So wonderful. We did not need 5 star am entities... More

We came across this place by accident, we looked in the Rough Guide to Turkey and didn't know what to expect. We took a chance and were very pleasantly surprised. We had a room which stepped out onto the pool terrace. A few people were staying there but we only new that when we saw them at breakfast. No noisy... More

Judging from the review in Lonely Planet, I expected something a little more picturesque but was disappointed with the actual conditions of the hotel and room. Everything in the lobby and in the room seemed old and as if in need of replacing. The doors on the shower didn't function so well and someone had left their used gum by... More

The hotel is in a great location not just for Ephesus but also for the Basilica of St John and the Isa Bey Mosque which is next door (NB the call to prayer is NOT a noisy one!). It's just a few minutes' walk into town where there are lots of restaurants. A good room, small but adequate shower room,... More
