Arriving via some narrow back lanes, we wondered what we in for. After entering through the B&B's gates, our doubts evaporated. And then, after meeting our hosts and seeing our room, we knew we were in for an enjoyable stay. Nilya is a small hotel on two levels surrounding a beautiful paved courtyard protected overhead with spreading trees and plants... More

Booked this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor, and wasn't disappointed. We loved everything about this hotel. Our host, Erdal was very welcoming and upon arrival, served us tea and went over the options for the next day. We had dinner at his sister hotel, Bella and the meal was delicious. In fact, my sea bass was perfectly prepared and... More

I really liked most things about this hotel.Friendly staff, tea on tap but not in room, decorations and pleasant courtyard dining. The ad does say buffet breakfast, not quite true, everyone is given a plate with typical turkish breakfast items then there are 4 choices of eggs. I really looked forward to the eggs.I am a very light sleeper and the... More

The staff is very nice and the owner will sit with you to discuss the area. They also own Hotel Bella and there are dinner and car service options available through Hotel Bella, which is just around the corner. The courtyard is nice and the hotel is conveniently located near St. John's and the castle and is just a 5-10... More

Rustic hotel. Dark Ottoman decor. Rooms clean and small, esp. bathroom. Not much storage space. We lived out of suitcases. Not many amenities but no tv (not a problem). Tasty Turkish breakfast on patio. Free wi-fi.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. We had a room on the ground floor in the corner by the stairs. The room was on the dark side as others have mentioned, but that did not bother us. The room was beautifully decorated with high quality art and crafts. The bathroom was beautiful too. Not fancy, but very... More

It was a small trek up a hill and some criss-crossing roads, but we're glad we found it. A beautiful oasis of a garden, friendly and helpful staff (family), great breakfast and quiet at night. You can't go wrong. Once we found it, it was close to a store, Saint John's Church, and a short walk to the downtown area.... More

Like virtually all visitors to Selcuk, Ephesus is the big lure & what a spectacular site it is, but finding a similarly cultured hotel nearby isn't so easy. The Nilya comes heartily recommended, it's a wonderful oasis of charm & serenity as far from corporate hotels brands as it's possible to achieve. So if you can look past the fact... More

Found this on Trip Advisor, and is owned by same owner of Hotel Bella, and his nearby carpet/ceramic/jewelry shop (lovely selection there!). Hard to find by our driver from the Izmir airport, but once there enchanted by the patio with fountain and outdoor tables, cute dog, and shady fruit trees. Our room was off the patio, a bit dark, but... More

Thankyou Urdal for looking after us in your beautiful hotel. We arrived quite late and he had his son escort us to a nearby restaurant. The hotel has lovely rooms (a little dark), beautiful courtyard, friendly and helpful staff.
