It is a pretty charming hotel in the town of Selcuk. For thos looking for a basic bed and breakfast, with a good location, this is a good option. Just a few steps from St. John's basilica. The staff is so freindly, make you feel at home. Their breakfast is wonderful. How would you like you egg? I throughly enjoyed... More

I arrived late on an already late night flight and was still warmly greeted and welcomed to the Nilya - i was even offered a tea but I was more enticed by the prospect of sleep. My room was upstairs. It was small (but was all i needed - bed washroom desk and closet) and was very quiet - i... More

This is a great hotel in the small city of Selcuk, the modern gateway to Ephesus. This hotel is great because it is small, and you are treated with the hospitality of a guest in someone's home -- someone really nice, that is. The prices are terrific, including for the additional services. The hotel took us from and to the... More

We knew we would be warmly welcomed at the Nilya, as we had been corresponding with Erdal for several months, during which he cheerfully and patiently answered a lot of questions! When Yelcen, who drives and greets and helps take care, met us at the airport in Izmir to drive us to Selcuk, the welcome was totally confirmed. ArrivIng at... More

I stayed here for couple of days and it's a very good hotel in a great location. Hotel itself is beautiful with all its garden and greenery. Nothing fancy in the room but they are comfortable. They serve complimentary breakfast at the reception area every morning. Staff were very friendly. They let me borrow their umbrella few times and gave... More

Owned by the same people as the highly rated Hotel Bella, but I don't see the hype. The hotel itself was lovely and comfortable. Beautiful art and comfortable beds. The breakfast was also quite good. It was the people that made our experience less than satisfactory. From the start it was hard to book rooms -we wanted two separate and... More

We spent two nights at the Hotel Nilya while we visited the nearby sites. The location provides easy access to places in town. The owner also took us to and from Ephesus at no charge. This allowed us to walk downhill from the upper entrance to the lower entrance without having to retrace out steps. There was a complete Turkish... More

We were looking for a small hotel with personalized service and this establishment delivered. The rooms are well appointed; the staff is attentive; and the shuttle service and guide service are first rate. We would recommend this hotel. The only downside is that they only serve breakfast - but it is ample and tasty.

We were greeted by the owner, briefed on the main activities in Selcuk, owner was friendly and very polite. Our room was beautifully decorated, very authentic, very clean and cool. Best breakfast we had during our holiday. Fresh fruit, eggs, bread, honey and coffee while sitting in the hotel's beautiful courtyard. Excellent location.
