The Hotel Nilya was one of my favorites hotels from our recent trip to Turkey. It's a lovely, clean little inn that serves an excellent breakfast every morning in the outdoor courtyard. Breakfast really was fantastic: fresh fruits, cheeses, excellent bread, a variety of jams and condiments, and eggs made to order. We found the staff extremely warm and helpful.... More

The hotel was easy to find….up over the hill near St John’s Basilica and down into the quiet back streets behind the main road. (There are a couple of signs on walls along the way). Our room was beautifully furnished in traditional style and overlooked the small courtyard below. It had a fabulous view to the countryside. We were told... More

Pleasant enough room . Small hotel and a little stuffy. Breakfast was good ! Close to the cathedral and souvenir shops. Staff could use more PR lessons, especially towards the line traveller. They were standoffish and I'm still unsure if it was pure personality trait or if they just didn't care enough.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Nilya Hotel during the Christmas time, which might be the most quietest time to visit Selcuk. Some of the plus points: - Great traditional Turkish breakfast - Walking distance to Temple of Artemis, Basilica of St. John, Isa Bey Mosque - About 10 min drive to Ephesus (The hotel offers free drive to... My family of four recently stayed in two separate rooms for two nights at Nilya Hotel in Selçuk. The hotel lobby is lovely. The breakfasts, which are served in the lobby, were delicious, with omelets made to order, cheese, fruits, etc. The rooms are small but clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were fine; the showers were good. All... More

We stayed 1 night at Nilya while visiting Ephesus (Nov. 2014) with our 2 kids: 7 and 10 yrs old. Probably helped that it was a slow time of year, but with only 3 sets of visitors that night - the experience felt more like a charming B&B with lots of attention to detail. Our host Nazmi, helped us plan... More

We stayed two nights in May of 2014, so we could be close to Ephesus. Izmir, one of the owners was wonderful and went out of his way to make our stay special. We highly recommend Hotel Nilya, but also enjoyed having dinner at the sister hotel, Bella.

Arriving via some narrow back lanes, we wondered what we in for. After entering through the B&B's gates, our doubts evaporated. And then, after meeting our hosts and seeing our room, we knew we were in for an enjoyable stay. Nilya is a small hotel on two levels surrounding a beautiful paved courtyard protected overhead with spreading trees and plants... More

Booked this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor, and wasn't disappointed. We loved everything about this hotel. Our host, Erdal was very welcoming and upon arrival, served us tea and went over the options for the next day. We had dinner at his sister hotel, Bella and the meal was delicious. In fact, my sea bass was perfectly prepared and... More

I really liked most things about this hotel.Friendly staff, tea on tap but not in room, decorations and pleasant courtyard dining. The ad does say buffet breakfast, not quite true, everyone is given a plate with typical turkish breakfast items then there are 4 choices of eggs. I really looked forward to the eggs.I am a very light sleeper and the... More
