While visiting the historic sites in and around Selcuk I stayed at the beautiful Nilya Hotel. A small hotel which is decorated in a unique Turkish style with beautiful furniture and Turkish rugs. Even though I has a late arrival the staff were available to deliver bags and help settle us into the hotel. All facilities in the room were... More

We traveled to Selcuk via an overnight bus from Istanbul, my family of six which included my husband and myself, our son Joshua and his wife, Cheryl, and their two daughters (our granddaughters!*) Aislinn, 13, and Ceallan, 11. When we arrived at the bus station and asked directions to the Nilya, we were told immediately where it was and how... More

The manager and taxi driver were so accommodating for my late arrival due to a delayed flight. They welcomed me in even though it was the middle of the night and made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms are sparse but comfortable, but the courtyard in which I had breakfast and the delicious breakfast the next day were... More

The hotel is immaculately clean, the location is near the St.John Basilica and is a bit hard to find. The proprietor is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Others have commented about his sales pitch for items from his shops. He did talk about them briefly, but was not insistent. The hotel has a welcoming courtyard and tables for an... More

A charming property with lots of style. Check in was efficient but abrupt. Our room was small but efficient and overlooked the courtyard which is a meeting place for hotel guests. Our hosts were friendly and offered lots of touring information and assistance - they also owned a travel agency!! Breakfast was excellent and taken in the courtyard. Located in... More

Owned by Erdal and Nazmi, this little hotel is very tastefully decorated in an ethnic Turkish style. Room was very comfortable with a lovely sitout outside. Breakfast was delicious and served on the table. The hotel itself is centrally located and walking distance to the Fort and other minor attractions. Erdal is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and was kind... More

I stayed here for two nights but would have been glad to spend a week. It is walking distance from the train and the town and after following a slightly winding path, you arrive by a stone fence that opens up to a charming courtyard filled with flowers and trees and the calming sound of a small fountain. This is... More

This sister establishment of the well established Hotel Bella is tucked away in a quiet side street, yet within easy reach of St John's Basilica and Ephesus (there is a free shuttle from Bella). It has a lovely courtyard with fountain and garden, at the time we were there the star jasmine was in full bloom, filling the air with... More

Very pretty decor throughout this little house-size property. Location is a bit tricky to find in a car but just follow their directions from the website. It is a stone's throw from the basilica and a short drive to the lower parking of Efes (Ephesus). We opted to drive there ourselves and then we took a horse carriage up and... More

Located at the top of the hill a very short walk from the St John Basilica we found this to be a very convenient location. It is a couple tricky turns away and the street it is on is not that appealing. But enter through the secure gates into an oasis run by very friendly owners. They served us tea... More
