Owned by Erdal and Nazmi, this little hotel is very tastefully decorated in an ethnic Turkish style. Room was very comfortable with a lovely sitout outside. Breakfast was delicious and served on the table. The hotel itself is centrally located and walking distance to the Fort and other minor attractions. Erdal is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and was kind... More

I stayed here for two nights but would have been glad to spend a week. It is walking distance from the train and the town and after following a slightly winding path, you arrive by a stone fence that opens up to a charming courtyard filled with flowers and trees and the calming sound of a small fountain. This is... More

This sister establishment of the well established Hotel Bella is tucked away in a quiet side street, yet within easy reach of St John's Basilica and Ephesus (there is a free shuttle from Bella). It has a lovely courtyard with fountain and garden, at the time we were there the star jasmine was in full bloom, filling the air with... More

Very pretty decor throughout this little house-size property. Location is a bit tricky to find in a car but just follow their directions from the website. It is a stone's throw from the basilica and a short drive to the lower parking of Efes (Ephesus). We opted to drive there ourselves and then we took a horse carriage up and... More

Located at the top of the hill a very short walk from the St John Basilica we found this to be a very convenient location. It is a couple tricky turns away and the street it is on is not that appealing. But enter through the secure gates into an oasis run by very friendly owners. They served us tea... More

The Hotel Nilya was one of my favorites hotels from our recent trip to Turkey. It's a lovely, clean little inn that serves an excellent breakfast every morning in the outdoor courtyard. Breakfast really was fantastic: fresh fruits, cheeses, excellent bread, a variety of jams and condiments, and eggs made to order. We found the staff extremely warm and helpful.... More

The hotel was easy to find….up over the hill near St John’s Basilica and down into the quiet back streets behind the main road. (There are a couple of signs on walls along the way). Our room was beautifully furnished in traditional style and overlooked the small courtyard below. It had a fabulous view to the countryside. We were told... More

Pleasant enough room . Small hotel and a little stuffy. Breakfast was good ! Close to the cathedral and souvenir shops. Staff could use more PR lessons, especially towards the line traveller. They were standoffish and I'm still unsure if it was pure personality trait or if they just didn't care enough.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Nilya Hotel during the Christmas time, which might be the most quietest time to visit Selcuk. Some of the plus points: - Great traditional Turkish breakfast - Walking distance to Temple of Artemis, Basilica of St. John, Isa Bey Mosque - About 10 min drive to Ephesus (The hotel offers free drive to... My family of four recently stayed in two separate rooms for two nights at Nilya Hotel in Selçuk. The hotel lobby is lovely. The breakfasts, which are served in the lobby, were delicious, with omelets made to order, cheese, fruits, etc. The rooms are small but clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were fine; the showers were good. All... More
