Our first stay in a pension in Turkey and we were unsure what to expect so we chose something higher tier in Selcuk, the Nazhan Hotel. Just lovely. The family was very friendly and we had a nice breakfast in the morning. You can probably find cheaper, but rest assured you will be comfortable here! Proprietor does prefer to be paid in cash.

The family Munveeve and the family made us feel at home, the hotel is beautiful ,very relaxing with each room decorated with different style. The breakfast was amazing Muneeve was absoulety amazing although we stayed in July 2013 and this review was written late, the hotel was very well located with walking distance to shops and restaurants. The children Sertac and Kardelen took us to around the centre to good shops and to buy souvenir and clothes.Munuvee even cooked a great dinner ,we were well taken care of.We very much enjoyed our stay at Nazhan hotel and the last day Sertace and Kardelen even came to the station with us to bid farewell.

I stumbled upon the Nazhan Hotel, around 7:45am, where I was greeted with a friendly "Merhaba" and invited into the courtyard. I had no reservation and I was traveling alone, but they set me up with a modest room for myself with A/C (!) and a little balcony. The breakfast provided by the family who runs Nazhan everyday was a lovely turkish breakfast! Walking distance to all major archeological sites, and the town of Selcuk is just wonderful as well. Highly reccomend this stay.

Our stay was wonderful and homely! Our hosts waited until very late for our arrival, and nothing was too difficult. The small, family run hotel was just like home away from home. Turkish breakfasts with Home made jams, served in the courtyard were just simply romantic! The rooms were comfortable and furnished beautifully in Turkish rugs and wall hangings. The hotel is a short walk to many restaurants and cafes, the museum and St johns church.

This really is a little gem. Right opposite St John's Basilica, very short walk to Ephesus Museum and a 2 mile drive to Ephesus itself. On top of that the rooms and the courtyard where you dine are beautifully decorated and Cemil and all his staff are permanently friendly and helpful. We have now been 5 times - enough said!

We stayed here for a couple of nights in August 2014. The best part of the stay was the wonderful home-made Turkish breakfast served in the charming courtyard. The place was also filled with bric-a-brac, adding to the warmth and homely atmosphere. The location is great - it's right across the road from St. John's church and a short walk away from the markets in Selcuk. A good place for travellers who are not picky about luxuries and want an affordable accommodation. Would love to come back here someday!

This is a very nice family run hotel in the middel of Selcuk. Just up the road close to the center of town. A perfect littel hideaway and good starting point for your trip to Ephesos. The family is very friendly, the room small but with comfortably beds. Breakfast i generous and is served in the little courtyard. There is also a very fine terrace where you can enjoy a beer watch the sunset and the storks who nests on a pillar just in front of you. The hotel does not serve alcohol but you can buy in the market and BYO. There is good wifi and you can park your car near the hotel. Highly recommended

Nazhan is a small family hotel situated in a very good location in Selçuk - close to St. John's Church, otogar and train station. The house is beautiful, but we didn't love the room; too small - and no cleaning service during our stay. But I totally recommend the breakfast, tipically turkish, with delicious homemade jams! One of the best I had in Turkey.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cute hotel. The bathroom was new and modern but with character and natural stone, and the room was cozy. The owners took great care of us, and the day we left they pre-arranged coffee for our 5:00 am departure to the airport. Breakfast was really good with fruit, cheese, ham, fresh bread and eggs, and great coffee. The whole place has character, I think it is two traditional houses that have been merged and they share a cozy courtyard. This place was perfect for us but the best was the attention of the owner and his wife. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lovely stay.

Although the room felt a little cramped the room itself was comfortable and clean. The owners are a friendly couple and the breakfast was the standard small hotel in Turkey breakfast. Overall satisfied . The location is really convenient and is close to places to eat out and hang out once done sightseeing for the day.
