By the time we arrived in the hotel, the hotel owner Jeff had some family issues and was displaying an unacceptable behavior towards guests. The breakfast was very poor and you would hardly get any service. He almost 'kicked us out' of the hotel because he was very stressed that a lot of new guests were coming on that day.... More

This hotel is a good example of good proactive customer service, they let me in for early check in at 3am in the morning at no additional coast and it was a great room for the price paid, reception people were very friendly and helpful, their fluent English made it easy for me ,I even had homemade pastries from the hotel staff,my experience... This hotel was recommended by our travel guide, so we went to have a look. The price was an okay one, something like 40 euros per double room per night, which was a good deal. The room was large and nice, one of the redecorated ones, overlooking the aqua-duct and nesting storks. The value was in the lovely breakfast, which... More

Our stay here was too short, but our host Jeff helped us make the most of our time. He arranged special transportation for us to see the sights after personally welcoming us to his beautiful little family run hotel. We also had an amazing dinner at the hotel with some of the best food on our trip! I would highly... More

To eat at Wallabies is a delight The service is excellent and the food is Fantastic. I have eaten there many times and it is the only place I go in Selcuk. Everything is so reliable the food is so tasty and the portions are very generous A must when you go to Selcuk.

Stayed here for a few days and had a great time. It is a clean, newly renovated hotel that has beautiful views of the Aqueducts as well as the Storks nesting on them. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. It is centrally located and very close to the train station. The staff is very friendly and gave the hotel a... More

We only stayed a night here and it served our purpose well being close to the train station. It's newly renovated and the rooms are clean and attractive to walk into. Towels were arranged beautifully on the beds. We were on the fifth floor overlooking the storks nesting. With the windows open it is noisy but as they are double... More

Wallabies is well located for enjoying the thriving town of Selcuk and Ephesus, although the hotel does not offer a shuttle service to the ancient site as many hotels do. The accommodations themselves need work. All the rooms have now been renovated but still need work. My biggest objection is security. The room lock is just a push-button on the... More

The Wallabies Aquaduct hotel is centrally situated along the pedestrian walkway in the quaint little town of Selcuk, Turkey (site of the world-renowned Ephesus ancient city) overlooking the remains of an equally ancient aquaduct. The hotel's name conjures up the idea that the owner may by from the land Down Under, but that did not turn up to be the... More
