The hotel's location is great: walking distance to St. John basilica and Ephesus Museum (not the ruins), also walking distance to the market where you can find local restaurants (if you want to eat delicious meals at a very good price). The Ephesus ruins and Virgin Mary's House is close but not walking distance, you'll need a ride. The hotel... More

This hotel is in a good location, close to the shopping and restaurant area of Selçuk and a short walk to the bus station. There are ruins right across the road and St John's Basilica is just up the road. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was the usual tasty Turkish breakfast. However the room was disappointing. While it... More

My husband and I are living and working in Istanbul and we just got back from a trip to Selcuk (Ephesus) where we stayed at The Rebetika Hotel for two nights. The location of the hotel is perfect, only a couple of blocks from the center of town and an assortment of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. The... More

The room is basic but what really touched us is the owner of the hotel. Ibrahim is really nice and very helpful. He recommended us on places to visit in Selcuk. Even after we checked out and went to other towns, he still give us advice on those towns and contacted his friends to provide some service at a really... More

This is a really good hotel, we had a nice, bright, sunny, spacious room in the front with a view across the valley and to the ruins of Artemis temple. There is a lovely roof top terrace where you can go for a beer or have dinner, the food was very good and excellent value, the breakfasts were also good.... More

I have been to Selcuk a number of times and I'm quite familiar with the place and accommodation options in the area. I have to say Rebetika Hotel is hard to beat - it has the best view, top location, clean, comfortable bedroom and facilities and Suleyman and Ibrahim are outstanding hosts. The hotel is just across Isabey Cami, a... More

We had a triple, used the spare bed for luggage. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, including the bathroom. The A/C was certainly a blessing, only the past few nights were comfortable with the window open. The mini fridge was great for holding water, juices and what have you. We ate breakfast daily on the roof... More

The is more like a family run pension than a hotel. It is 15min walk from the train station as it is on one end of the main town centre. Might not strike one as convenient or pleasing at 1st sight - but wait till you experience the magic of the lovely terrace on a breezy summer evening. Rooms are... More

The host and his brother are very pleasant, speak English or French and are very eager to help and answer all your questions. You really feel welcome in this hotel. The room was clean and the breakfast very good. It's a walking distance to the mosque and the city center. It's also very easy to go to the Efesus Site.... More

i booked the hotel tthe night before not expecting very much and was very happily surprised. The hotel itself is very simple, but it has everything youneed. I try to stay away from big chain hotels and this is why, this is a family owned and operated hotel, everyone is very warm and welcoming, and our room was just great...... More
