We initially had reservations at another place in Selcuk. While walking around, we passed the Barim Pension and I was taken by how beautiful it looked - encased in bougainvillea and lots of interesting metal work. Once we returned to our original booking, we were overwhelmed by the traffic noise and realized we did not want to spend the night.... More

Very lovely family run place catering toward cyclists but also to other travelers. Cute, vintage buildings with rustic charm and budget price point. Avoid the street facing rooms for noise control. They offer a turkish breakfast, wifi in the entry area and are in a good location near the bus station. A lovely breakfst courtyard complete with fountain and ivy... More

We were underwhelmed by this hotel after reading the positive reviews. While the family running the hotel seemed quite kind, our room was really more like a room in a hostel. Our bathroom had no shower curtain/divider so anytime you showered, the whole space was soaking wet - the toilet, sink, everything. Meaning that 4 hours later you still had... More

Actually, this is a very late review - I stayed in a private room back in August 2012 (note: Tripadvisor would not let me backdate the actual travel date) when I visited the ruins of Ephesus. The place is run by a family who try to keep the place in order and operational. The manager is very friendly and has... More

Our family of 5 stayed here in May 2014 in two adjoining rooms. Each room had its own bath. This place is not a fancy hotel, but is clean, safe and has comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms. It is family run and the owners are very friendly. There are mulberry trees outside and they picked mulberries for us (we... More

I stayed three nights at this pension. The first two mornings the hot water was intermittent, going back and forth between warm and cool, never really hot but tolerable. The third morning there was no hot water at all. I met a woman at breakfast who had come in the night before, when there also was no hot water. In... More

This was such a great find and I just stumbled on in while on my way to another pension someone had recommended. There is the loveliest center courtyard garden where breakfast is served and it is just a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. You won't find luxury here - it is a basic pension,... More

This is a family run pensyion. It's a white house with a courtyard where the breakfast is served. Rooms are fine and clean with air-conditioning. The owners are very nice and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfast is good, with boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, jam and fruits. 60 TL for a double breakfast included. Don't miss it!!

We were really pleased to have found this place. We chose it because of its Lonely Planet good value recommendation and its location: very close to the otogar, museum, parks and restaurants, the services of Seljuk are only a few minutes walk away. The pension proved to be a good base from which to explore Seljuk, Ephesus and Pamukkale over... More
