Tuncay Pension Selcuk - Originally we had two nights booked but had to cancel one night due to bus schedules from Cappadocia.  It is well located 5 minutes from bus and train station.  Lovely garden area for breakfast and relaxing in.  A very good substantial and fresh breakfast. Very clean rooms.  Management hands on.  Would have liked to stay longer.

what do you expect for a hotel just EURO35 per night? everything is just worthy for this price, the tiny room, simple bed, simple breakfast. it is a good choice to stay just one night for sleep, the location is good as the city is so small, the room is quiet, the bath is ok. wifi doesn't work well. a... Free transfer from the bus station but a slick bloke who appeared to have spent a fair amount of time in Australia. Great dinner at the buffet for only 15 Lira and the staff were happy to have a chat (spoke English, French and a bit of German). The rooms were a little small but the only downside.

Junaid the owner, who speaks good English and French, will go the extra mile for you - literally. He (and his very helpful staff) smoothed our path in many little ways, e.g. he drove us to a bank to change money, phoned ahead to the driver of a public taxi taking us to Izmir requesting him to stop nearby so... I spent two nights here with two friends and we had a very nice stay. The owner Juneyt (sp) was most helpful. Upon our arrival in Selchuk we were unsure where the pensione was located so made a phone call and he came to us and we followed him back. He then told us he was serving dinner that evening... More

The rooms were clean and fresh, the breakfast was a good typical Turkish pension breakfast. One brother took us to visit Ephesis in his taxi for free with the obligatory carpet sales following. But since my sister was in the market for a carpet and the place was very high quality, no problem! He also took us for a very... More

We were touted at the bus depot by the owner so were a little wary but he was a genuine guy and did not set us wrong in any way. The rooms were clean and fresh as was breakfast, I would definately stay here again.

The courtyard of this pension - where everyone has breakfast - is well-decorated and has a great feel to it. There is also a balcony with a breathtaking view of Selcuk Castle. The triple room we occupied was air-conditioned and comfortable, though there was not a lot of floor space. The bathroom was clean, as were the beds. The owner... More

I have never been on tripadvisor before, but after my 2 weeks in Turkey, I wanted to review a few things. Tuncay Pension and its scamming shuttle driver are the first of my reviews! Tuncay Pension is a good place to stay. It was clean, beautiful breakfast in a pretty courtyard, good value for the money, and a fantastic location.... More
