I had stayed this neighborhood for several time, comparing others, Cem Sultan is no sewage problem, price is cheaper, location is good, however, no elevator(can ask front desk to carry luggage to the room), breakfast is too simple no roof view for Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia.

Stayed for 3 nights, and we thought it was a decent value place, but could've been better. We were annoyed at being given a twin room rather than the double we booked, but otherwise the hotel was reasonably good value, the room being small but clean. The staff seemed absolutely gormless, but they did book us a taxi when asked.... More

Staff here was the highlight, 'Safe' spoke English very well and was always there to help us plan our sight seeing, rent our car or give us an umbrella! If you are visiting Old Istanbul it is just a short walk to everything. Rooms were average, a bit small and not the cleanest but for the price it was a... More

We stayed in this hotel in September for 3 nights. The location is perfect, walking distance to the main attractions with the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc being just around the corner. The hotel staff were funny, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good with the dining room having an amazing view of Istanbul. The only... More

We decided on a whim to go to Istanbul. Within minutes of booking we received an email and were able to ask questions. The hotel staff arranged for a transport from the airport directly to them for 30 euro. A man waited a the airport with our name on a sign and brought us directly there. The cost was put... More

The location can't be beat, and the restaurant on the property is very good. The rooms are comfortable, but it's a bit of a party place, so if you're looking for a good night's sleep, perhaps look elsewhere.

The hotel was a nice Surprice . The Staff was kind and friendly. The location is good since it is close to many historical sites. Tram stop five minutes away. The breakefast started at 8.30 which in my opinion is a bit late. But the content was decent. It is served on the top floor with a marvolous view of... More

A great location right next to (both physically & sonically!) the Blue Mosque and many other locations. In fact, you can walk to many fantastic attractions within 5 - 10 minutes from Cem Sultan; Beautiful mosques, Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar, Palace, Mosaic Museum, Basilica Cistern etc. I would agree with many of the other comments here, however, the hotel is...
