Large and spacious room and bathroom. Friendly staff who helped with the luggage and taxi bookings. Hotel interior is nicely decorated with paintings and furnishings. Located in a safe area close to the Arasta Bazaar. The only downside was the free buffet breakfast. It was the worst we've encountered during our travels in Turkey. The bread and the biscuits were... The Romantic is a little hotel in the Old City of Istanbul a couple of blocks from some good restaurants, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It's a location that is ideal for first time visitors to Istanbul as my wife and I were. Moreover, the roof top breakfast looks over the Bosporus, breathtaking. The rooms are clean and the... More

We stayed in this hotel in the Sultanahmet for 11 nights, making it our base for exploring Istanbul and vicinity. This is a small European-style boutique hotel on a quiet street filled with similar boutique hotels. As in all real estate, location matters. This one affords beautiful views of the Sea of Marmara and the Blue Mosque from the pretty... More

We stayed six nights and found that the hotel was so close to most of the major tourist sights we could just walk everywhere. The staff went out of their way to help with any request and we loved our stay. If you get a chance, stay on the top floor with the balcony overlooking the strait, you can sip... More

We stayed with my wife two nights as part of our honeymoon. We were delighted by the decoration at arriving, the whole hotel is precious and the room was great. Even we had a first floor room you can still have a beutiful view from the window/balcony. You are walking distance from many Istambul landmarks and the area is safe... More

Stayed in this lovely hotel for a total of 4 days in June 2014, and absolutely loved it. It's in the old city of Sultanahmet a really lovely area, might be a bit touristy for some but lovely bars, cafes and shops. Very safe to walk around even at night. With in walking distance to all the sights, blue Mosque... More
