We are three friends who stayed at Apricot Hotel for four nights recently. We had booked in advance and upon arrival the room was already prepared for three people, with the couch made into a bed. The location is great, a quick walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The WiFi was strong and breakfast was really quite nice.... More

I can not recommend this little hotel highly enough. The rooms are spotless and the location is perfect. It is down a quiet street in the heart of historical Istanbul. What really sets it apart are the people who own and run the hotel. Hakan arranged all the internal flights for my family and everything he said he would do... More

this hotel is in a great quiet location in Sultnahmet; walking distance to many sites and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful; breakfast was good; room was clean and well maintained with a little balcony and a great shower. Decent AC and good wifi.

We stay for 2 days, rooms are nice, big bathroom very clean. Nice breakfast, free wifi. The plus is the location (very center) and Hakan the owner wich give us a very professional city tour. He is also a super expert carpet guy if you need to buy one like we did!

It's a small hotel that is not far from the old part of the city. We've stayed for 4 nights at first and one more night before we went back home. Hotel owner knows English well and can give u advice on what to visit, but not all the stuff understand English(so might be difficult at night if u have... More

Attracted by good review by Facebook Friend, and we were not disappointed! Hakan and all other staff were very helpful, and when we changed our initial booking (from Booking.com to direct), he threw in free transfer from the Asian-side airport. Nice breakfast, fine room with balcony at rear (nice for drinks and for a pipe-smoker!). Stairs are steep with no... More

A friend found this hotel and stayed here a couple of weeks before us. We did not know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. The water was hot, the bathroom clean .the bed comfortable. What more could we want - actually we got more. Good breakfast and the manager, Hakan, and staff were very friendly and helpful. The... More

In March we made our first trip to Turkey and the Apricot was our first hotel. From the start, the staff were helpful. The Apricot is a small hotel conveniently located in the Sultanahmet. The staff are very helpful and especially so when one of us left an expensive piece of equipment and emailed to ask about it. Hakan and... More

Lovely little hotel in a great location. Not the place for those that want a sterile, international hotel. This is a six room B&B set in a quiet street of hotels. In the room the drawers and doors didn't quite fit perfectly, but the furniture had character, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the water was hot.... More

Finally we made it to the Apricot Hotel. We had heard so much about other travelers in the past. The Apricot Hotel is more like a cult, a certain atmosphere you become a part of. It reminded me of the lovely small hotels in Paris in the 80's. Wooden creaking floors, a normal bed, some furniture that has aged, narrow... More
