Stayed there in September for 4 nights, as part of a group tour of Turkey. Hotel was ok, but not great. Room was in need of a big refreshment - stains on ceiling and in bathroom. Reasonably comfortable, good location. Restaurant was so-so; food was ok but bland (dinner). Staff was ok.

This is a lovely little hotel located in a very convenient area of Istanbul. We easily walked to all attractions. The hotel has an extremely friendly staff--everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Amenities which are free to all guests is a computer(there is only one but I was able to use it whenever I wanted to) and a... More

The hotel is very nice. Breakfast is good but is the same food every day. It is a clean place and is located to blue mosque. Near the hotel there are a lot of restaurants. I recommend "Ala des amis". You need to let your car key to the reception but I don't recommend because I found my car damaged... More

Stayed at Amira Sept 15--Sept 26 during our first trip to Istanbul. The hotel is located in the Sultanahmet area so it is close to all the attractions , we were able to walk everywhere ( never had to use public transport). The staff is so helpful from the monument you check in. The hotel provides a wifi hotspot that... More

The staff makes this little hotel so personal and comfortable. I booked the hotel on expedia and paid 149.00 euros. After reading the glowing reviews I was afraid to trust the low price but there was no problem at all. The taxi ride from the airport cost approximately $30 USD. The staff greets you at the door. The wonderful Fatih... More

We stayed here in early September 2014. We were greeted by AJ who was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on eating out and sightseeing Istanbul. The hotel is a small boutique establishment very close to the blue mosque and easy walk to the tram. The staff work very hard to please and apart from a few minor... More

Arrived with my wife for the celebration of her 40th birthday, after carefully picking this boutique hotel, strategically located in the old city. We however had to leave earlier than planned and the great hotel manage Ertugrul, arranged everything for us in the most pleasant, efficient and charming way. Also the rest of staff were impecable. Bravo, keep the good... More

Excellent location and nicely decorated. The rooms were renovated and clean. A great choise near all the monuments. Tip: don't buy any cruises or excursions from the reception (in this hotel or any other in the city) before doing a little research - most of them are a ripoff. You can do them on your own with a fraction of... More

First 3 nights in turkey we stayed here with our group. Rooms were small and under furnished and the bathroom fit one on a large day.on the good side, very friendly and helpful staff and the location great just near the blue mosque and bazaar. Most importantly, clean and we'll kept, but we were on the first floor next to... More

It's 5 minutes walk from all the main sites so that is a big thing. In fairness it is a nice hotel and our room was lovely and well maintained and cleaned throughout our stay. The staff are very helpful and will recommend trips and visits (though are clearly on commission for some-see below). You get what you expect from... More
