Great little place! Stayed with my girlfriend and another couple. We had orange juice and coffees on arrival, all the help possible during our stay and sandwiches on departure! Staff are lovely, rooms are traditional and very clean. Would definitely go back and would Definitely recommend! more

We had a wonderful time at the Apex Hotel. It exceeded our expectations in its charm and hospitality. Ibrahim, the manager, consistently went out of his way to offer information, services, and friendliness. We felt exceedlingly well cared for by the entire staff. One evening the cook prepared special homemade food and we were invited to share dinner with the... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in October. Room is traditional, clean, quite small and a little tired......but I'd definitely go back. The location is great, safe and the staff, every one of them could not do enough for us. They even made sandwiches for us on our departure at 5:30am, we din't ask for them, and they had coffee for... more

Located just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the historic cistern and Topkapi Palace. The rooftop terrace breakfast buffet affords a breathtaking view of the Sultanahmet district, the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus. The Apex is a jewel with a friendly knowledgeable staff. , more

After reading the other review online, I decided to book this hotel. My email inquiries were always answered in a timely fashion, and were always polite. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lokman Yunushan, the person whom I had been emailing with. He could not have been any more hospitable or polite. We were treated like family, and offered our... more

Whilst possibly not the most glamorous hotel you could book it was well managed and very very hospitable. The manager and staff were ever helpful without being pushy, in fact when a better room became available at short notice we were offered it at no extra cost. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was enjoyable one the roof terrace. And... more

We recently stayed at the Apex Historic Hotel for five nights, and appreciated finding it on tripadvisor.com. The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul, and the neighborhood was charming, friendly, and felt very safe. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was lovely, and the room was quite comfortable. We felt like we were "at home" while there. more

My wife and I ended our trip to Turkey with a 4-night stay at the Apex Hotel. The hotel was located within walking distance to all the main sites that we wanted to visit, 5-10 minutes by foot to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, with other sites/locations such as Grand Bazaar, Spice Market and Galata Bridge... more

We can't understand the good reviews this hotel has received in the past on TripAdvisor - which was the only reason we chose it! This hotel is overpriced, not particularly clean and across the road from two excellent hotels either of which would be a much better choice. The friendliness of the staff does not compensate for the tired rooms,... more

First time to Istanbul, wonderful city!! Hotel was good, but cannot see why it is so popular with Tripadvisor reviewers? It is a good three star hotel, no more. The room was probably the smallest I have ever stopped in! Breakfast was on roof top, it rained the last two days and was quite cold. I realise that for most... more
