I had a great start with this hotel until something went off with the booking process from Mili, the manager. So to be fair with my review, I will relay my experience based on my day-to-day experience. DAY 1 (2-Jan-2015) : check-in As soon as the taxi stopped in front of the hotel, Mili (at that time, I didn't know... More

Location wise it is a perfect place especially for those who prefer walking around the city. The only thing to note is the 'wild cry' of morning prayers which start at probably 5am can some would wake up from the noise. So if you are a light sleeper avoid any hotel in this area. Hotel is nice enough for the... More

Room 126, is very small for a deluxe tween room. The hotel is worn and tired. In our three night stay, we needed to ask for towels, the shower room lock to be opened, the extraction fan does not work, no rubbish bin in room. At night I could smell cigarette smoke. Breakfast is limited, at 8.30 they ran out... More

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in - and I've stayed in the remotest places in the world in a few dire places. But, this is Istanbul which isn't remote and which I've visited many times over a 40 year period. This dreadful hotel almost destroyed my love of the city. Shall just list the faults... More

My husband and I stayed one night here since we opted to do an overnight layover with Turkish Airlines and then get a free tour of the city the next day. The hotel rooms are small and the décor is a bit old but that's the charm of being in the oldest part of town. The room was clean and... More

Apex hotel: The good things first. Neat and clean, exclusive location, very close to the main attractions Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. The reception is very cooperative and is always trying to be helpful. Secluded street and quite and peaceful locality. Breakfast not bad, though the arrangement is quiet basic. Don't expect elaborate stuff, but that's ok considering the... More

We had a large room, with a functional toilet with hot water. I only paid 30 euro a night on booking.com. Room was quite pretty and beds were comfortable. Location and view was fantastic. Breakfast spread was basic. Cheese, olives, coffee and tea and toast. The view from the restaurant was amazing!
