Excellent location with plenty of shops and cafes in area. 5 minute walk to the square. One small problem was the front desk person during check out was somewhat rude and lack good customer service. Other than everything else was excellent.

This is my favorite hotel in Taksim and it is not my first stay there. I suggest this hotel because is quite, clean, with kind staff and good breakfast. Normally I'm in Istanbul 4/5 time in the year and I found with Midtown Hotel my best location.

Clean hotel in a great location. Close 5 min walk to busy Taksim and metro stations yet far enough away that it doesn't get too noisy. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good room service. Breakfast (40 TL) and airport shuttle (50 ERU) where over priced so plan your own transport and get breakfast at one of the many nearby cafes. Hotel... More

Location of this hotel is perfect for the Taksim area, and the smallish room & bathroom were clean but that's about it for positives. I booked this hotel after reading reviews that highlighted the English proficiency, courtesy and politeness of the staff. I will agree that housekeeping and the bellhop was really nice but the front desk was nothing close... More

I stayed here on my last day in Istanbul in a deluxe room in early July. This hotel was modern, clean but a little small. There isn't a lot of room to open up large suit cases but you work around it. The shower has a glass door which helps make it look more upscale. It's 5 minutes from the... More

I'm so happy for chose midtown because Everything is near, Taksim, Istiklal, Metro and Bus station. The staffs are very polite, breakfast is the best. Rooms are clean and modern. Inside the room is very quiet. Finally i think everything you would expect from a hotel are available.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from Istiqlal Street, the employees are very helpful if you have any questions. Seems to be either new or newly renovated, it has a modern vibe to it. Everything was up to expectations except maybe for the breakfast..I would say below average..other than that I would definitely stay at the hotel for next... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
