We loved there very much, I would definitely come back. more
The rooms are adorable, and immaculate and even the little shampoo and soap things are wrapped in cute packaging. The location is stellar, and the price is fairly reasonable. The downside - it's very noisy - especially if you have a room that faces the road where there is a major intersection, and apparently if you are on the 1st... more
From the moment we walked into the lobby till the sad time to leave, Genie and I were treated royally. A complementary breakfast is served on the top floor with a wonderful view of Topkapi Gardens and St. Sophia. We arrived late, about 11:30am, but the staff (Naz) was still in attendance and without hesitation she put together a Turkish... more
The Amisos location is perfect. It's close to the major sights and the tram. The hotel is quaint and clean. The real plus is the staff who went above and beyond the call of duty to see that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this jewel in Istanbul. more
Well what can i say. This is an amazing hotel run by one of the friendliest and hospitable managers I have ever met. It is like being part of the hotel's family when you are there. All of the staff, especially "room service" make you so welcome you do not want to leave. I stayed in one of the suites... more
From start to finish the hotel staff made every effort to make our trip relaxed and stress free. The location is perfect, within short walking distance from Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Ava Sofia. Topkapi Palace is just over the road. The rooms are really funkie and are fully equipt, I personally could have used more cupboard space but then... more
I stayed at the Amisos Hotel toward the end of July in 2008 with my friend. I've been meaning to write this review since then! We had such a great time here, it's in a top location and we were able to walk from the hotel everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms are just gorgeous, definitely check out the... more
The Amisos in Istanbul is a boutique hotel in a great location with walking access to virtually every tourist and historic landmark. The rooms are simply amazing and the price very reasonable compared to other hotels in the Sultanahnet area. The rooms have been decorated in various themes and colours with no two alike. (check out the Amisos website). The... more
If you are planning n drinking in the british pub in this establishment...pay PER DRINK as you purchase it so you dont have a heart attack at the end of the night at your bill. That way you might be able to afford to drink here and can just simply go to a place 50% cheaper than here for your... more
Hotels in Turkeyseem fraught with danger. There appear to be a number of faults, namely the bait and switch, whereby you book a hotel and upon arrival they advise you, the hotel is overbooked and they can put you up in an alternative sister hotel. Best way to avoid this is to arrive early or book a hotel that doesn't... more
