Tulip guesthouse was a wonderful and welcome surprise. I had booked at another hotel which turned out to be twice the quoted price when I arrived. I ended up walking around Sultanahmet and stumbled upon Tulip. The rooms are clean and feel fresh, the owners bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and help you with anything you need... More

Tulip gusethouse was a perfect choice for our trip to Istanbul. The place was clean, located near the main sightseeing spots such as Sulntanahmet cammi or Hagia sophia but still quite and cozy. The staffs were very friendly.. and the breakfast??? Breakfast was more than pefect. I can still taste that homemade jams.. :) Highly recommended for everone!

We spend a weekend in Istanbul exploring some of the major sites and Tulip was a great home to do it from. Esin was very helpful and even guided us to a restaurant that did not charge tourist prices and yet had all the classic Turkish food. The breakfast is generous and with a delightful view of the sea and... More

The rooms at Tulip Guesthouse are beautiful and the staff are lovely, so helpful. We stayed in a twin room which had a private bathroom which was clean and modern. The location is great as just off the main sultanahmet restaurant street and close to blue mosque, hagia sofia and tram stop. Check out the library down the stairs for... More

This is a small establishment in the "old town", about 5+ minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Mosaics Museum, Topkapi Palace. And about a zillion restaurants (but the street the hotel is in is small and quiet). In 10 minutes you can walk to a tram stop and catch a tram to where the ferries are... More

This is a super clean and friendly guesthouse in a great location. Rooms are very small, so it is a little hard to maneuver around normal-sized luggage. The staircase is narrow and steep, so older or less agile folks should request a first floor room. Breakfast was served in a cozy room upstairs with a nice view. Staff were friendly... More

The Tulip Guethouse is perfectly located in the heart of Sultanmet, a short walk from the Blue Mosque etc. The rooms are quite small but nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The rooms wre cleaned, beds made and clean towes every day. The buffet breakfast was good and included cereals, coffee, tea, bread, olives, cheese and salad. The hotel is on a... More

This was my first time traveling on my own and the staff at the Tulip Guesthouse were extremely helpful. Esin, the manager, helped me find things to do and even walked with me to a restaurant to explain my food allergy to them. The room was quaint but very comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff here are wonderful! They helped take care of everything we needed. Ms. Esin even helped us call to confirm reservations for another location in Goreme. The rooms are cozy and clean with modern private bathrooms. Breakfast was always good with a nice assortment of fruit, veggies, eggs, cereal, and olives. We would definitely stay here again!!
