This hotel is as described in prior reviews; old and cramped, but for a budget hotel that can be forgiven. What is unacceptable is there was no hot water for our stay. Istanbul is 10degrees outside and a cold shower is simply unacceptable, even for a budget hotel. Be prepared to walk significant distances and stairs to your room and... More

I have just returned from staying in this hotel with my pensioner Mum (lots of steps). The city break was booked through an agency, so I had no idea until we arrived just how bad a 'dump' this hotel is. Receptionists are rude and speak no English. This hotel is for street traders and local people only. Rooms are like... More

We looked for a cheap hotel nearby the metro, we found this good one Of course very few English words by the staff, but cause we are from Egypt, it was a little bit easy to use some Arabic words plus the sign language. The staff was very kind, clean, smily face and helpful. The room is very good The breakfast... More

We stayed here 2 nights (6-7.08.2014), during our trip in several locations in Turky (by bus, organized trip). This is a 3 stars hotel, clin, quiet and -very important for us- close to the most important historical objectives in Istanbul : Blue Mosque, Saint Sofia, Topkapi Palace, the Great Bazar, The Dolmabahce Palace (all of these was visited by us).... After a bad experience previously in my trip, I was nervous about going to this hotel as it was recommended by a travel agent that had so far failed to deliver. Once I got there I felt a little better and the next 7 days wasn't too bad. The whole hotel was kept quite clean and tidy but it is... More

Staff of the hotel are very rude and not a single English word!!! They were cheats waiting to punce on you. First they insisted on keeping our passports and after much protest I got it back. The Hotel is a dungeon. The table cloths were covered in Emirates Airlines Blankets. This should give you an idea of what sort of... More

I stayed in this hotel during my trip to Istanbul in May 2013. It wasn't my choise, but the travel agency's one. It is centrally located, pretty close to most of the tourist sites. There are many bars, restaurants and shops in the area, so it is very noisy, but this is typial for any hotel in Laleli neighbourhood. What... More

What you pay is what you get. Very cheap , old , crowdy , noisy hotel ! Right in the Aksaray zone, poor neighbourhood. Maximum 2 star hotel. The only plus was the breakfast, staff and price. Avoid this hotel !
