Stayed at Sultanahmet Suites on 3 different occasions, each time being impressed further by the management and their readiness to serve you with the utmost respect and zeal. Kudos and thumbs up for them, especially Aylin Onutman who will forever be ready to serve you in anyway there be. They are flexible and easily help you get the best price... More

Great apartments that perfectly suited the needs of our family group staying in Istanbul for a wedding. We had 4 apartments for 8 nights. We loved having privacy as well as being able to be together. It was a great location for exploring the historical sites in the older city area of Istanbul (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace etc).... More

I've been here for 3 nights and I can say it was the only good experience I got in Istanbul... Why? well, not (only) because of the location (which is just perfect, only few mins walking distance from the main attractions), not (only) because of the huge room for a reasonable price, but mostly for the kindness of the staff,... Stayed here for three nights. The rooms were clean and well equipped without being luxurious. However the real value in staying here is the location and the service. The location makes it easy to walk to the major historical sights in a few minutes. There are lots of little shops nearby and some really nice (and good value) restaurants nearby.... More

I happen to visit Istanbul second time on June 2015 and managed to book the same suite which I used in 2010. The location is the biggest advantage for this property. They have acquired few more suites than what they had in 2010. The suite had two sleeping areas,a small kitchen, well appointed bathroom and housekeeping service. We even managed to... More

The hotel has several buildings, ours was a renovated traditional turkish house on a quiet nice street near a small park. Excellent location, close to a beautiful mosque of Byzantium origin and also to the main attractions of Sultanahmet. The suite was nice and comfortable, interesting interior, good service. Not so good were the internet connection (hint -- use public... More

The manager, Deniz, was very welcoming and helpful, especially since we had just been scammed more than 400 AUD just by catching a taxi from the airport, so best advised to use Sultanahmet Suites' shuttle bus. We were given a free upgrade to the executive room which was just amazing, Very clean and spacious and the most amazing view. Deniz... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
