The hotel is situated in the center of the city. I believe it has 35 rooms, each of them having a different layout. The restaurant downstairs is amazing! The staff is wonderful. It is a hip hotel, providing you luxury! I'd absolutely recommend staying here!

The hotel itself was fine. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly clean. The breakfast was included and was wonderful. The breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. The big drawback for this hotel is it location. It is very central in Taksim. For the day - perfect, for the night, don't expect to get a good... More

Very average hotel in a crowded and noisy neighborhood. The lobby is dusty and cluttered. We booked for three nights but ran away after one night. The building next door is being re-habilitated as an addition to the hotel. Construction goes on until very late at night, past 9 pm, using noisy hammer drills producing monotonous pounding noise that is... More

The hotel is in a great spot but be sure to ask for a room NOT on the main road. Our room was loud, very loud. You can walk out the front door and be just minutes from Taksim Square, shops, and restaurants. The bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, but wifi and breakfast were good.

I really wanted to like this place. Great location, rooms are modern and the superior room is large compared to most European hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast is free and fantastic, running from 7am to 11am. However, the almost constant noise was ridiculous. The music from the neighboring restaurants and clubs was understandable, as I knew what I was... More

First of all take a deep breath and scream! You're going to ISTANBUL!!! I did a solo trip for 11 nights in Istanbul and the location I chose couldn't have been better. [July 30-August 10] You are less than 1/2 a mile away from the Funicular (You don't have to walk up and down the street of doom [Siraselviler] that... More

I had quite high expectations before arriving at the hotel. Our room was nothing like any of the rooms on the pictures. It was much smaller, had no view at all (if you looked out the window you saw the wall of the house next to the hotel), had no lamps beside the beds just one very bright one ceiling... More

Service was great. Was upgraded to Cedar class. An ottoman style room. Were willing to help. This isn't my first time at LUSH. The only disadvantage is that if you are wheel chair bound it would be difficult to go up. If you can manage going 5 steps up to the elevator, and going down then do by all means... More

We went for drinks here as we heard the music coming from inside. They had Latin music playing. The people dancing were pros! Really cool vibe. The music stopped at 2 am but the bar stayed open till 3! Will go back. Not sure if the Latin is only on Wednesdays but will be back for it.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
