I really enjoyed my stay here in July. The location is fantastic - just off Taksim Square it's close to metro and tram stations, easy to get a cab, and right by a decent convenience store. I stayed in room 102 and found it surprisingly large! I was pleased to have a wooden floor, and everything worked well (shower, air... More

I went to Lush hotel with my girlfriend for 3 days. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Also great position very near from Taksim plaza. The breakfast is mainly turkish but it's delicious, I recommend it.

I stayed at this Hotel in May 2015 and really enjoyed it. I paid for an upgraded room and was so lucky to get a large room next to the lobby. I really liked that because I was alone that particular weekend I stayed in Istanbul and I felt very safe with the front desk agents (men) out there 24/7... More

The staff here speaks almost no English. They will help you as best as they can. Rooms are small but clean and nice. The Air conditioning works great. LOCATION can not be beat, right near Taksim and 3 minute walk to the subway. The breakfast was good. Now the part that could be improved upon. Do not have your laundry... More

We stayed at Lush Hotel in May, 2015 for six nights. The room we were assigned the first night was facing the street (Siraselviler Cd) and it was very noisy after midnight. We requested the room change next day and they moved us to a new room facing the yard which was very quiet and spacious. The staff spoke good... More

The Lush Hotel is centrally located and a short distance from Taksim Square. Close to shopping, restaurants, take aways and public transport. Rooms are gorgeous, staff friendly and helpful. Not recommended over weekends if you enjoy your sleep though as it becomes very noisy both inside & outside.

For me , I felt so happy at that hotel as part of the family. I stayed there for 15 days and really I enjoyed it with my family. I had a baby and the staff were so helpful . The location is really wow. just 3 minutes from Taksim Square. The service of the room is so fine .... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. A 10 minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off, and a short walk to Taksim Square, the Metro station and the starting point for the Big Bus city tour. If you turn right outside the hotel, you are a short walk away from a network of small alleyways containing a number of... More

Good location away from the regular tourist area so you get a good feel for the city. Economy room was VERY small and the whole place had a faint odour of cigarette smoke. Staff tried to be helpful but the language barrier was a bit hard to overcome at times. The Vadar Palace Hotel next door was nicer.

We stayed there for three nights last December. When we saw the hotel inside we just said WOW ! the design is perfect and the room design even better! Its like an old palace or castle! The rooms are not very big but this might not be a problem. If u have time, ask for a room with a balcony... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
